JJ is a bad culture fit

Take Sengun and try and play a unique style and win that way. Hes a top flight prospect, fits a need and with their young core.

I haven't scouted the class extensively, so my answer two weeks from now could be different if I bother to watch more than one minute clips here and there

I see why Jalen Johnson is leading the poll and I rate him higher than most of the list, but...

at 6'9 your not teaching that BBIQ of 18 year old Giddey... Despite his sub optimal wingspan I still think you might be able to stick him ultimately at small forward defensively.. It's just a matter of whether or not you can have too much handling/usage with him and Fox/Hali for me

The other thing is the team obviously needs defenders, so do you take who is better defensively over who you like?

u have a better version of Giddey in Hali, i'd go a different route.

I could be wrong but Kai as potentially the second best big in the draft seems like the move to me. They can officially end the Mobley experiment and get value for him later next season before he is no longer on his rookie contract. Also it keeps them from having to pay Holmes too much in FA.

I think Moody or Keon Johnson are BPA here, but I take a swing at Jalen Johnson's upside in light of SAC's really good young guards.

Giddey is certainly intriguing though. I'm a sucker for BBIQ and ball movement for a kid that young.

I personally hope we trade out of the 9th pick, pick up two later in the first. The guys I like are a reach at 9 but i'd be cool taking anywhere 16-30. Give me Trey Murphy, JT Thor and Ayayi in this draft and I'm cool.

Smells like 9 for 16 + 18, maybe w/ someone like Roby thrown in.

Yup, count me in for that.

Does Moody make Buddy expendable?

after what he did to Moses Moody's name, I got DJ K. Perk in a Verzuz battle against ANYBODY

I think Buddy has made himself expendable. He doesn’t play defense, he isn’t big enough to play the 3, complains whenever he has to come off the bench, and hasn’t lived up to his contract.

If I was Sac I’d be looking at the Fox/Hali/Moody trio as my perimeter guys going forward.

Luckily Buddy’s contract was front loaded continues to decline over the next 3 seasons. I’d try and convince him to be a 6th man gunner (that’s what he should be anyways). If he doesn’t buy into that, I’d move him for whatever I can get back.

I voted Keon because I think this is Sacramento's last, best opportunity to sabotage their rebuild with a horrible and inexplicable draft decision.

Want: Bouknight, Senguin, Scottie Barnes (unlikely), Giddey, Jalen Johnson, Mitchell (maybe if they deem him BPA).

Do not want unless the Kings trade down to the mid to late teens: Moody, Kispert

Praying for to be there at 39: Herb Jones (think he's better than Moody)

Would love if the Kings trade for a late first: Donsumu or Jared Butler.
