Sengun would be my pick here (looking to move Wiseman). Think he's among the more ready to play and the clear upside play.

If we pass on Moody twice I might have to become a permanent Hawks fan.

I think Jalen Johnson would be a good fit for GS, but he's too similar to Draymond for them to maximize his skillset in the short-term. So I'd go with Moody here, he has the best combination of upside and immediate plug and play ability.

The-Power wrote:Moody appears to be easily the best combination of fit, readiness and some upside. I'd take him. I like Jalen Johnson but it's probably too risky for us at 7. The Warriors, if they don't trade the picks, need contributions from their Rookies next year and Johnson is just a complete wild card in that regard.
agreed, I think Johnson would be more in play at 14 than at 7
at 7 it has to be Moody because of everything you stated, good baseline of talent, a great schematic fit, with a good combo of potential and readiness to contribute.

I'm starting to think Moody will actually be there at 14. Givony seems to keep dropping him. If I knew Moody was there at 14, I'd take Franz at 7 most likely.
I mean it's basically like getting Dunleavy and Klay.

Is there any reason to believe that Franz will be better than his brother?

Orlando
Sac
New Orleans
Charlotte
SAS
Indiana
tough...i think Sac, NO or Indiana could take him tbh...but any of these teams can take Wagner too.
only reason I'd rather take Moody is cuz if Wagner is not available at 14 we have other options, like JJ or Thor? i think i'd rather just take Moody @ 7 and take my chances at 14.

yes, Franz is like 2 years younger coming out while also being a better player, his development curve is wayyy ahead of his older bro's, also Franz FT% is 80%+ while Mo's didn't even hit 70%, also Franz is a better defender, more mobile with better playmaking chops overall...Franz is way more of a perimeter player too, Mo is a stretch 5 pretty much without the ability to protect the rim or paint.
difference between Franz and Mo is like the difference between Evan Mobley and Isaiah Mobley

Damn, he sounds like the perfect guy for our system. As long as it's not like a Cody/Tyler Zeller type of situation.

For the record - I'd go with JJ.
If not Barnes, then JJ is the clear best option here IMO.
If he drops to 14, then it would be amazing.

BPA because the Warriors will still be in the NBA long after Stephen Curry retires from the Association

Wagner only made 34% of his threes, from the college line. Maybe in time he’ll learn to be a shooter, but he isn’t one now. At best he’s a very poor man’s Iguodala, a defender who can pass and score inside occasionally.

Is Bouknight an upgrade over Jordan Poole? Seems like their skillsets would overlap.

I feel like it'll be Mitchell because they desperately need shooting and someone to give Steph some rest. If not him, then Moody because he could provide Klay rest and would be great depth at the 2/3. Both make the most sense to me because they're instant contributors and good two-way players.

I think it’s between Bouknight and Moody because of them being instant contributors, upside, and they can both get playing time if Klay comes back on a minutes restriction.
