after having to see what happened with T. Clarke i doubt he wants any parts of that reminder if he can avoid it.

I think this is 100 percent true. And beyond that, Kentucky did an absolute disservice to every player they had this past season, that was such a piss-poor hodgepodge of players on a team with no system. I think Cal does an okay job with individual development, but only because you are playing some of the best talents in college basketball at practice.

re: where should Boston go? I hope a really good organization buys one of those New Orleans or OKC 2nds and works on developing him slowly, and putting him in a supportive environment to recover from watching his friend die in front of him. I'd love him in Utah, I think San Antonio or Golden State could be good places ... maybe Charlotte, etc.

i would love to say close to home but considering home is where it happened might be too soon for that. I like OKC taking a shot and giving him a chance to play his way there. looks like what's gearing up to be a really good in house competitive space. even though the situations are drastically different, I do like how they've brought Bazley along in what could have been really bad for him with the route he chose.

Toronto seems the most natural fit. YOu gotta assume hes a g-leaguer for at least 2 years and they have a strong proven track record of development.

BJ definitely has all of the skills, he also has the drive *when* he wants. He tries to force the game often, instead of letting it come to him. I truly think he has one of the better ceilings in this draft, however, his floor might be the worst. I'd love to see him going into a scenario that has good vet leaders and can afford to bring him by very slowly.

The idea of BJ Boston is better than the reality rn. He's got a lot of work to do. Guys like Bones Hyland and Josh Primo seem to be passing him up in the draft order.

The word is BJB is soft so that wont sit well I think especially if he also has no motivation or something. Seemed to be a tad immature imo. e has NBA tools just no where near NBA ready

Personally I wouldn’t draft him at all. His production was too terrible. He averaged less than one point per FG attempt and was frankly terrible from 3 and anywhere inside the arc. Didn’t get to the line much. Despite being 6’9’’ and playing tons of minutes never blocked shots and barely rebounded

I was full on anti Reddish and didn’t view him as a top50 pick and feel the same about this guy but worse.

Basically all of the sure thing bust traits are there. If he was ranked the 200th best prospect coming out of HS instead of the 6th best he’d play 4 years of college and maybe earn getting drafted. Instead he’s going pro when he’s not even close to ready because he knows it’s now or never, if I don’t do it now I’m never getting that contract.

you were wrong on Reddish. i get that most didn't see him as the project he's proven to be, but i'd gladly take Reddish. with Boston you know he's a project, but if the outcome is Reddish, how many of those '22 2nds does it take to get this guy on my roster?
