i think Atlanta would've loved for Mitchell to fall to them here, other I think they go Butler (if he checks out) or Tre Mann here for some on ball guard help when Trae is on the bench.

I’ve been with Tre Mann for a while out of this range of guards. I think Butler, Mann, cam Thomas, bones, Cooper, and some others are all in this ballpark
What about McBride? Defensively this guy is pretty close to Davion Mitchell
This draft is sick. There’s still Vrenz to Nugs possible. Wieskamp needs added to pole

Another pick where it's hard to figure. So many different directions I could see ATL going.
They have depth at every position, except PG but I feel like a draft this good if you're picking in the top 20 i would be taking a player who could potentially become a starter within the next couple years so for that reason I'm not taking a PG here since no way in hell they're gonna replace Trae Young.
Rumors are swirling that the hawks might not resign Collins, or if they do resign him they'll do a sign and trade. So why not go for a 4 here?
Roko is the better prospect than Thor, IMO. Thor might be more athletic, longer and better defender but his ball skills need a ton of work, especially handling the ball and shooting it - I just Roko has a higher probability of turning into a really good NBA player with his combination of size, skill set, motor and how he plays with a chip on his shoulder / plays like every dude he's going against just stole his lunch money, he's a beast. I have roko top 12 on my big board. If the Hawks part ways with Collins, Gallinari could be a good mentor for Roko - they share mins at the 4 at first and then once Roko is ready he takes over the 4 spot for good.

Man, this mock fell apart after pick 10. Half the given options aren’t even 1st round talents...so had to vote “other”

With the possibility of losing Collins, I went with Prkacin. I think he's the best power forward on the board.

Fair point. I'm just assuming he'll be cleared and everything checks out but that isn't a safe assumption.

I'm hoping for the best for Butler. Really good player and seems like a great kid. Presented himself very well when he was interviewed by the TV guys at the combine and Coach Drew said "there's only a few guys you'd want to marry your daughter and he's one of them"
Drew didn't have to say that. You could tell he meant it. I like the way Butler plays. If he's healthy he's a lottery pick IMO. It would really be a shame if he isn't cleared and is never able to play in the NBA.

i think he'll be okay, they are just being super cautious because of the whole Keyontae situation...obviously hoping for the best...love me some Butler and he deserves a chance to play in the NBA.
