Jared Butler

Any idea on what the timetable will look like for his medical clearance? The whole situation is just awful for someone who has grown into one of the best guards in the college game.

Depending on clearance, he could be one of the greatest steals in the draft this year.

I haven't heard anything. If he's healthy he's top 15 on my big board.

even healthy he wasn't more than a late 1st on my board. He's a small SG with no elite traits. He's older, not particularly athletic and while overall he's skilled, there's no wow factor. He should make a really solid role player though which is why he's worth at most a late 1st in this strong draft class...if healthy. Since he's not, he could go mid-2nd or even undrafted depending on medicals.

Glad to see he avoided his being ruined by a medical reason

Still feel bad about what happened with Isaiah Austin
