The games are broadcast on YouTube at the Hellenic Basketball Federation channel.

For France the main NBA prospect is the parisian 7ft center Ismael Kamagate. He's a bit underrated but to me he's quite as promising as Gobert at the same age. He shares the same physical profile and defensive game. His wingspan is extremely long and he is really athletic. He even has a better frame than Gobert at the same age. He really wants to dunk and block everything.
I think he's not very well rated because he's a late bloomer and he plaid at a low level last year. But this year he will play in french elite with Paris and I expect him to dominate the paint.

Some other french prospect are interesting but more Euro-oriented (Benitez, Barbitch, Mienandi, Ndjock, Mbaya...)

Why is it on the HEBA site? Will the game be broadcasted in ERT or is it YouTube-only?

It's actually on the Greek Federation's (EOK) site, not Greek League's (HEBA) site. Although as everyone knows the federation (AKA a certain club team) controls HEBA too and every single aspect of anything to do with basketball in Greece.

But nonetheless it's on the federation's channel, not the league's channel.

The reason the federation's channel has the games is because the tournament is organized by the federation, because of COVID. It's the official FIBA tournament, but it's just easier to have the federation involved, instead of having more people involved with COVID issues.

I didn't check ERT, but I don't see games listed on the live internet broadcasts on ERT1, ERT2, or ERT3.

https://www.ertflix.gr/ert2-live/
https://www.ertflix.gr/ert3-live/

The games don't seem to be there.

Gotcha. It is a bit of a distinction without a difference but you are right nonetheless.

I saw that it largely depends on who is hosting which groups. Group A is in Czechia so you have to go to their federation's site for the games, group B is in Georgia so you go to the Georgian site and group C is in Heraklion so you go to our site. The 19-26 groups are all hosted in Hungary so that's where you go for those games.

Thanks for the info.

Any potential NBA prospects there other than Kamagate?

It's not a champioship but 3 separate challengers.
The other 2 are streamed

and here https://www.tvcom.cz/Den/?d=2021-07-20
If you want to try to measure the elements of basketball that are supposedly unmeasurable, spend a game just watching Marc Gasol.

True. There doesn't seem to be a playoff-like bracket for the top 16 Challengers. Any idea what the "reward" is?

Here is the full schedule:

https://www.fiba.basketball/europe/challengers/u20/2021/competition-schedule

They have semifinals, finals, and also classification games.

It's the same thing as the normal European Under-20 championship, except that the groups are held in different locations, due to COVID.

The schedule that you posted indicates that the semifinals, finals and classificiation games are only about the group played in Sopron, Hungary. That's the 19-26 bracket, not the top 16 challengers one. There doesn't seem to be a bracket for the top 16 challengers.

We can use this thread to comment all the euro challengers.
Currently u18 underway with most teams giving oportunities to their 2004 guys.
In Spain the one who stands out is Baba Miller, the kid oozes potential. Still little known outside of the spanish bbll-junkies circles cause he was in a stacked Real Madrid junior team and had a minor role but is showing glimpses that he can become something special.

Sure, why not. I see that Luca Andrei Colceag is playing for Romania. He played for the u20 version as well. Gonna be a tough summer for the kid but I hope he succeeds.

Henri Veesaar sounds like an intriguing player as well. 17 years old, 6'10 and playing for Real Madrid (definitely not the norm for an Estonian). He had 23 points, 13 rebounds, 5 blocks and 4 assists in his first game against Greece, in a game where Estonia was extremely competitive (Greece won 85-83). Not bad at all. No idea if he's any kind of NBA prospect but if he is in Real's youth system then he can be a good player in Europe at least. He probably has a future ahead of him.

I also saw that Gibraltar had a 5'11 Center (yes, he's listed as a Center) who grabbed 16 boards in his first game. I'm not sure how that works but that must have been awesome :D

Havent watched them yet but Ron Zipper is putting up some ridiculous number for a surprising Israel team.
