Apparently, their first game was a couple of months ago, footage here:

Does anyone know if their schedule and player stats are going to be posted online anywhere?

If you want to try to measure the elements of basketball that are supposedly unmeasurable, spend a game just watching Marc Gasol.

anyone know where you can get up to date stats for OTE? On their website, it looks like Team Overtime (Jean Montero's team) is 12-0.

Yet, you can't find stats anywhere to know like what are his stats over the course of those 12 games? What's his assist to turnover rate? What's his 3 point % ?

You evaluate prospects based on eye test, physical profile, age, stats and intangibles (character, work ethic, coachability, competitive drive, etc.). Makes it very difficult for a team to use a high draft pick on Montero with 1 of those buckets completely missing (stats) ..

Heard Matt Pennie saying there was no stats on their website.

Yeah I just checked and don't see any stats there.

OTE needs to get it together!

Latest game here for Team Elite:

Montero had a triple double, including 3/7 (44%) from 3 point range. I also counted at least 3 steals and 3 deflections on D. He was very active on D. I counted at least 10 assists. As of now, I have Montero as a top 10 pick.

The other guy in Overtime Elite who it appears could get drafted in 2022 is Dominic Barlow. 6'9", 214 lbs with 7'1" wingspan. He is starting to get some draft buzz - some are projecting him to go in the 2nd round. Long, athletic, active, good lob threat who cna also put it on the floor, shoot and block shots. Good mobility for a dude of his size. He's #22 in this video..

I honestly don't get this as a development path, and it makes me really hesitant about Montero. Their competition level is lower than college basketball, and if these guys are elite prospects, they can get endorsement deals while in college, or go play in the gleague or NBL and make money w/better competition. As a replacement for a senior year of high school, it makes a ton of sense, as a replacement for the year after - right now it doesn't make sense, and if these players are still playing high schoolers in that year, I don't see how it every becomes what it promises to be. If they can develop a relationship w/the gleague ignite squad and/or international leagues and their best players get to play there the season after their senior year, then I think it starts to make a ton of sense.

Yeah it's weak competition they're facing. But these are some of the better prep schools around the country they're facing - many of them have post-grad players who are 18 or even sometimes 19 yrs old. Montero himself doesn't turn 19 until next July.
