Murray is one of my lowkey favourite players in the league. he's an extremely good all-round player. Elite defense for his position, very good play maker and capable scorer from anywhere. Where's the hole in his game? He's got 6-7 years in his absolute prime to come too, arguable the best is yet to even come.
But
He's not winning a championship. He's just not that Jokic, Giannis, Doncic, Tatum, Embiid level. And while young, he's now entering his prime and I don't see how SAS get much better without making some moves. What's the plan? Hope you hit lucky on some 10-15 picks like you did with Kawhi and use Murray as a capable no.2? Score big in free agency at some point? Maybe Jokic, Doncic or Tatum decide to roll the dice with another franchise that has at least a history of winning. But that seems a reach as SAS aren't exactly selling easy rings with their current squad. Or is Murray to be traded, and what do you want for him? Picks picks picks I assume. From who? Personally I'd like him on Denver but not sure how that would ever get done.
