Who in this draft class do you trust to make a 30-ft 3pt shot?

Post#1 » by Catchall » Sat May 21, 2022 2:41 am

Players are shooting with deeper and deeper range in the modern NBA, with guards and wings pulling up from deep even early in possessions if they've got the room. Who in this draft do you trust to shoot the 30-foot bomb in a big game?

Poll added.

You think he has that kind of range, the way he squares up as a jump-shooter?

I know it says other but Im too lazy to think of other names. I would side with AJ Griffin. I think he has the best shooting touch out of that group. Has a great soft touch to his shot.

I'm not sure I'd trust it, but I could see Ousmane Dieng developing plus-range.

The guy who is probably the best at doing it right now is Michael Devoe. You can factually see him doing it already. It is part of what he already does during games.

The Mavs missed the playoffs without Brunson.

Yes, Mathurin has the form and balance to connect in all shooting situations - dribble hand off - catch and shoot - off screen - off bounce - fading - sliding sideways. That translates to range.

He's the best pure shooter in the draft since Tyler Herro. He's a championship caliber piece.
