Pelicans will start McCollum - Herb - Ingram - Zion - Val.

They don't really have a 6th man. They get one here with Bennedict Mathurin. He provides scoring punch off the bench with Alvarado, Graham, Hayes and Nance Jr.

I think this is low enough to draft for fit. This range between 8-14 is basically identical in talent imo.

Pelicans need a PG, but there is no way to draft one here without reaching like crazy.

Sochan would be the ultimate small ball center to run with Zion.

I went Sochan, but I could see Davis or Mathurin, as well. Honestly Sochan might be a bad idea b/c of overlap with Zion and Herb...but...I like him, especially if they decide to trade Zion and I feel like that's somewhat likely.

Only if Sochan could shoot and protect the rim.

I instead went with Griffin. Plenty of guys who can make something happen with the ball in their hands with Zion/Ingram/CJ. An elite shooter around them would supercharge the offense.
