Went Jalen Williams, think he has the highest ceiling here. Probably ends up as Duren, Griffin or Eason, though, all of which are great choices, too.

If they don't trade the pick I think the Knicks will go with need here and take TyTy Washington.

AJ Griffin. Have to add upside to the crop of young players you're developing. Can't select a high floor role player here. If you want instant impact trade 11 for a win-now player rather than drafting a rookie.

Eason - I think NYK could use a creator but no one is left at this point outside Williams who I just cant see NYK spending 11 on.

Maybe but between his injuries and meh defense I could see them going with Eason. Same upside, but physically more a sure thing. I am a little surprised TYTY wasn’t made a option for them at this pick.

I'm surprised anyone would consider TyTy before 20. Does he project to do anything at the level of a starter? Maybe hit open threes and that's about it? But based on the response he should probably be the next player added to the poll.

What makes Griffin a higher upside player than, say, Dieng or Eason?

He was injured almost all last season and he broke walls Assist record with 17 assists a game.

Eason. I know they already have Randle and Toppin but I think sometimes you have to go BPA. I have eason as the BPA by a pretty comfortable margin here. You grab the BPA here and figure out the rest later.

I figure next season you bring Eason off the bench as a key reserve, wreaking havoc on 2nd units. He was the 6th man at LSU so it should be nothing new for him. So short term he comes off the bench, long term you figure out what the roles and minutes distribution looks like between him, randle and Toppin.

The Knicks would probably draft AJ Griffin or Malaki Branham. I think the Knicks FO really likes Malaki.
