Not sure what happens with Luke, but if he isnt coming back that might be a problem, they really need to get Duval in badly.
Knox might still go there.

It was clear as day something was wrong with this team from the start. I was saying from the start K was misusing the roster and the talent so I'm not surprised that so many players are getting the hell away from the program. I'm all in for a nice fresh start.

That would be great but I don't see it, seems like Bamba is long gone and Knox might be looking elsewhere, heck even Mizzou actually.

Also they might be too big and without enough shooting with that lineup.

Oh ya totally not going to happen. I feel very confident about Duval and most insiders still say Duke is the likely place for Knox (I've never felt confident with him though) and I think Bamba ends up at UK or Texas. I'm just saying this because I just want a fresh start from this past year. To me it was clear K lost that locker room or never had a great grasp on it to begin with and this year was ugly haha.

Green/SGA

Maybe Briscoe comes back, which I doubt, seems locked in declaring this year, that's a backcourt that can't shoot, 2 PFs playing the 3 in Vanderbilt and PJ (both guys I like but not in that role), Gabriel who is raw offensively and an inconsistent shooter, and then 3 back-up Centers in Wynyard, Richards and Humphries, the only guy that is supposedly a better shooter than avg for his position is Killeya-Jones, and who knows if he is actually any good.

Looks like a recipe for disaster if you ask me, esp for a big man, they better have a good one with Quade Green.

Off topic but Tai Wynyard was so stupid to go to Kentucky imo :nonono:

What's the vibe on Wynyard? Interested to see any Australiasian talent come through, and he's had a bit of hype on him.

Last I heard and from what I've seen he is an undersized 6'10 center with below average wingspan but very strong and physical. Has lost a lot of weight since but doesn't seem to be very althletic/explosive but apparently that has improved a lot since losing weight/getting in shape. I think his skill level is decent in that he can hit a jumper and has a few moves in the post. It's hard to judge his potential when he hasn't played at a high level at all really. I'm hoping he develops and can become draftable and an impact player for our national team. Don't see him getting a significant role or playing time with blue chipper after blue chipper coming into that team. He needs to play and would have been better served going somewhere where that can happen imo.

I'd expect Tai to probably transfer, maybe Sacha Killeya-Jones will too.

I think a team will take Giles in the late lottery or teens and develop him carefully, because why not. Seems like he's this year's wildcard player like Thon Maker last year.

Yep. The thing is when players have these injuries this young they usually recover from them. I think the fact that he came to Duke in the middle of the season while they already had their thing going on hurt his ability. It also seemed like he had no confidence. I'm not convinced he's fully there yet mentally. If he can get himself close to what he uses to be before the combine and workouts I think he could even rise up to 8 at most.
I also think it didn't help that his usage was so low. Kennard, Allen and Tatum used all the touches. He just seemed out of place. I definitely think there is still something there. I've seen players return from these injuries with the same kind of issues the first year back, where they seem like a shadow of themselves and it takes more time than you'd think to return to previous form. I think he'll get there. I hope he'll get there.
