And better than that, most of those guys are likely to stay 2-3 years, North Carolina is probably going to get a championship and several FF appearances out of this incoming group, which is what you'd want

you were saying the same thing this time last year about UNC.

also, that was never the argument, the argument is whether a OAD candidate should choose to go to UNC.

The obvious answer is yes, real OAD candidates haven't suffered from going to UNC, and even the ones who didn't play well enough to be OADs (due to lack of talent) ended up developing while they were there and maintaining enough of a status to end up as 1st round picks over time

Only the absolute scrubs, JMMcAdoo, Hicks, went undrafted, but they'd have gone undrafted regardless of where they chose to play

Obviously players should be conscious about where they go, and the system/coaching staff in place, but that's just for everybody, OAD or not

I see I have struck a cord with what I had said haha. In all honesty, my bad Marcus and Ruzious, I didnt want to turn this thread into a garbage thread. I lit a match and thew gasoline on a stupid subject that doesn't even come close to belonging in this thread. Honestly my bad.

I had forgotten that Fisch was a UNC guy.

But i think we're good. The back and forth is with posters i think can keep it under control enough to get through the back and forth. I don't forsee it lasting too much longer.

Has nothing to do with that really, it's just a false and dumb narrative, if it were to be true I'd have no issue admitting it, and UNC has its flaws, but it drives me nuts when people put so much weight on HS rankings and use that as a deterministic measure, it is just dumb

i understood what you were saying. I was speaking more to the passion of the delivery. You usually don't right away jump out that way.

yup, i think that's exactly the type of role he can play right away, with Scottie I think I can just let him get on the court and cover the opposing best wing from day 1.

not comparing them as comps because Jordan is much more advanced physically but RJ in the type of role Clarkson is providing for Utah right now could work out for him on the right team. Not necessarily needing the keys at all times but just being able to cruise the lot every once in a while is good.
