Thought about this for awhile (like 10 min) and I think it's a good decision. The main Miami scorers are leaving so he'll be truly the man.

If he has as great season I think he sneaks into the first round. Absolute ceiling for him is a Jerryd Bayless type career which is nothing to sneeze at...

He ain't always going to be sitting. It's not like Collins and Gallo can't/won't be traded. Otherwise I agree it seems redundant. Mcmillian is a terrible coach with the young guys. JJ is nice, I think he's very close to showing what he's about. Decent 3 shooter already for his size.

I am still convinced Duren goes higher than expected. If OKC misses out on a Top-4 guy I could see them take him 5/6 (Would require them to be bumped down....again)

Duren can go 4-5. He is the 2nd C off the board after Chet. There is even an argument for Mark Williams to go top 10, closer to 5 if we don't discount his age too much.

If Flannigan can get right after that injury and be a focal point for a good Auburn team I can see him working his way into the late first or early second. I do have a thing for physical guards, though.

Yup. The new NIL rules make returning (at least to these big schools) at much easier decision. Like Ive said in other threads, I dont think the NIL deals will change anything when it comes to lotto guys returning for another year of school, but I think it will definitely have an effect on guys like Roach.

Without NIL, I wouldnt have been shocked to see Roach declare and hope to be a mid to late 2nd round pick. But now when you play for these big schools, the decision is so much easier now. If you know youre not a guarantee to get that guaranteed 1st round contract. You can make 7 figures playing another year in college while you try and play yourself into the 1st round.

I think without NIL, Oscar, Bacot, and Roach would've declared this year. I also think there is a good chance Keels returns as well, because of this.

And ya when it comes to Roach. Next year's team is pretty much a PG's dream. Two elite big men, and an elite guard to play alongside. His job is going to be pretty easy next season.

AJ should declare tomorrow or Sunday (dont think anyone expects him to return)
I think many think Keels is still up in the air on what he's going to do.

A quick look over on CBS mock draft (one of the first ones that popped up for me), those are the only two they have going 1st round that haven't declared yet.
