Can you actually not deduce that yourself?

I can't do that. I'm not a moderator of this particular forum.
Can you not ask jman to do it? Since it is obviously very insulting to so many people and making so many of them angry, it should be removed.

You don't need to tell him that. He has an IQ of 197, which is higher than what experts estimate Einstein's IQ to be.KWSN-Men wrote:[

But you are a liar. Instead of quitting while you were ahead, like most people with common sense would've done long ago, you've kept on lying. Now you have to deal with it.KWSN-Men wrote:Maybe you should carefully read what that article says.
The article is clear. You've been caught, and now you don't want to play anymore.

All I know is you felt more reason to call me out for stating the true league leader, than for someone else stating the wrong league leader. Seems a bit odd to me. Yao Ming led the NBA in steals this year.

There is a guy in this thread calling me a liar over and over and over. You did not call me a liar but you said several times what I say is impossible. If you and the other poster are not insulted then why are you insulting me over it?
Just get a mod to remove it. I don't see how it is acceptable to have a guy calling me a liar over and over in the thread. He said he had a 138 IQ. Are you saying I can just flat out start insulting and harassing him now, calling him a liar, and so forth?
Alfred wrote:Hmm, it seems you still don't quite understand what I'm saying. I'm saying that at that point, I didn't know how the Euroleague system rewarded statistical "leadership". Afterwards, I was upset with how the Euroleague awarded statistical leadership.
It should be plain that that is how my train of thinking went, as you quoted those posts multiple times. Odd.

You should know that being insulted is not a prerequisite for insulting someone else. That's a pretty simple concept.
Secondly, I'm not using any sort of ad-hominem argumentation whatsoever.Just get a mod to remove it. I don't see how it is acceptable to have a guy calling me a liar over and over in the thread. You could probably call him a liar and try to support your arguments, but you would have much less traction, because what he is saying is not even close to statistically impossible, as opposed what you are saying.

I know that. I am talking about the people saying he led the league and basically calling me a liar or an idiot for pointing out that he did not. Your reaction was to just say that the Spanish Homers were somehow excused or in the right.
No. I have seen probably 20 or 30 times in these forums people stating that Rubio led the Euroleague in steals. It has become an accepted fact on the forums. I just figured it was about time someone actually pointed out that is wrong. I used the term homers rather than "liars" which seems popular now. However, when it became clear that the people saying he led the league in steals already knew it was untrue, well then........
Anyway, the point is it doesn't matter if you don't like how the Euroelague picks stats leaders. The issue of that is not pertinent to the matter. The matter of people claiming he led the league in steals when he did not. I mean it's as if I never brought it up here in this thread that even 10 years from now people would still be making up that he led the league in steals on these forums.

Absurd.

Using any sensible metric (which I suppose that the Spanish fans are wont to do) Ricky Rubio led the Euroleague in steals per game. I'll forgive them for making the "mistake" that the person who was #3 in total steals overall should actually register on the board when considering the steals per game leadership. I believe that the Euroleague system in determining this is flawed, and I therefor accept what they are saying as true.
Now that you understand my motivations behind supporting the people who disagree with you, perhaps you should stop complaining over not siding with you on this particular issue.

In other words, I can just start calling him a liar and attacking him in every post he makes now because statistically speaking it is highly unlikely that his IQ is 138. I can do this without any worry about being banned or anything. Got ya.
Alfred wrote:You can certainly call him a liar. You probably won't have much traction in that argument, as what he is saying is not out of the realm of possibility, like what you are saying.
In terms of how you wish to "attack" what he is saying, you will have to abide by the TOS, which will be determined by the moderator who moderates this forum. That goes for him as well.

Why is your opinion or a Spanish fan's opinion able to override the FACT that the official Euroleague leader was not Rubio? Can you explain to me why your OPINION makes the actual league's official rulings obsolete?

See my friend you yourself decided that what I said was impossible. You yourself claim it is impossible.
Alfred wrote:Because they are using a flawed method of determining who is the leader in a statistical category.
Not accepting a player who has played over half of the required games, and is #3 in total steals means you have a flawed evaluation system.
