All I know is you felt more reason to call me out for stating the true league leader, than for someone else stating the wrong league leader. Seems a bit odd to me. Yao Ming led the NBA in steals this year.

Hmm, it seems you still don't quite understand what I'm saying. I'm saying that at that point, I didn't know how the Euroleague system rewarded statistical "leadership". Afterwards, I was upset with how the Euroleague awarded statistical leadership.

I just figured it was about time someone actually pointed out that is wrong. I used the term homers rather than "liars" which seems popular now. However, when it became clear that the people saying he led the league in steals already knew it was untrue, well then........

Anyway, the point is it doesn't matter if you don't like how the Euroelague picks stats leaders. The issue of that is not pertinent to the matter. The matter of people claiming he led the league in steals when he did not. I mean it's as if that if I never brought it up here in this thread that even 10 years from now people would still be making up that he led the league in steals on these forums.

I believe that the Euroleague system in determining this is flawed, and I therefor accept what they are saying as true.

Now that you understand my motivations behind supporting the people who disagree with you, perhaps you should stop complaining over not siding with you on this particular issue.

Olympiacos point guards were Theo Papaloukas, Jannero Pargo, Milos Teodosic

Panathinaikos point guards were Vassilis Spanoulis, Dimitris Diamantidis, Sarunas Jasikevicius

CSKA point guards were JR Holden, Zoran Planinic, Nikos Zisis

Basically there would be no more than 10 minutes for him on any of those clubs this year. You would have a very difficult time arguing otherwise Joana.

Because they are using a flawed method of determining who is the leader in a statistical category.

Not accepting a player who has played over half of the required games, and is #3 in total steals means you have a flawed evaluation system.

In the NBA you have to play 85% of the total games to qualify.
