Big get for Michigan..the last year or so the recruiting has dropped a little getting another 5 star is huge..Battles a rewl gooe shooter he'll be great on Beleins system and he should be there for a few years..

With Dukes recruiting momentum I'm surprised he didn't end up there

Maybe it is just nosralgia setting in but it just seems like they dont make them like they used to. It seemed like every year in the 90s we were getting massive talents on top of massive talents already in the league from the 80s.

Yeah I think so too. imo the NBA had more individual talent from the 90's to mid 2000's but I definitely think despite that the level of play has increased. Maybe less talent but better Basketball.

I dunno feels like the next wave is on the horizon. Not only are a lot of these kids athletically gifted but you'll find more of them that actually know how to "play" when you start getting into the elite prospects.

also in terms of talent, I think back in the day you may have had more top heavy talent in the league talent pool but there's more depth in today's game IMO.

Almost positive kostas was just offered by Marquette and it's a mere formality that he signs his LOI there. However he's got a longggggg ways to go before he's even close to be considered an nba prospect, but obviously the genes and tools are there.

Sounds like Ayton is just aweing people every time out now..

Also interested to see the first rankings for 2018 this summer..Besides Bagley Montgomery and Naz Reid we really haven't heard about many names from that class nationally yet..

People say Dennis Smith is the best PG prospect but it may be De'Aron Fox.

Jonathan Isaac is in the same vein as Brandon Ingram.

Fultz is a smooth scorer with good feel....he and Murray have the best *chances* as the next Russell type imo

7 foot 230lbs coordinated with a gazelle stride at 16 yrs old is pretty impressive by itself. mix in actual basketball acumen and we might have something special here.

De’Aaron Fox battles Dennis Smith

It’s always fun to compare and contrast players at the same position who are both All-American caliber players in the same class. When Team Penny and 2016’s top point guard, Dennis Smith, battled Houston Hoops and 2016’s top perimeter defender, De’Aaron Fox it gave a chance to see how they would fare against each other.

The head-to-head battle between the two five-star guards was fun to witness because they guarded each other most of the time they were on the floor. While Smith did a great job of operating high ball screens and making plays to the tune of 17 points, five rebounds and four rebounds, it was Fox who made more plays in overtime as he tallied 19 points, seven assists, six rebounds and five steals.

The head-to-head battle was closer to a draw than a win for either side, but Fox did as good of a job of containing Smith as anyone has all spring.

you might be on to something there.
