This coverage would be far greater if it was Bilas and Russillo going back and forth breaking down these guys.

Again not saying I agree with Russillo on everything, but listening to him the past few weeks on his podcast talk about the draft, its clear as day he has been watching plenty of tape on all of these guys. At least he has some knowledge.

I just feel like Im losing IQ watching either the ABC or ESPN broadcasts haha.

Guys, they aren't trying to appease draft nerds or hardcore fans. Casuals bring ratings.

aint no fkn casual trying to watch Perkins.

and again, there is a reason ESPN hemorrages money. you keep repeating the same nonsense over and over again.

NBA struggles to get casuals to watch the playoffs. Casuals arent watching the draft. Also its not like Kendrick Perkins being on there is going to bring in more eyeballs than Ryen Russillo.

Damn as someone who has been rooting hard for the Pels over the last few years, I was really hoping that Mathurinn was going to fall to them.

I hate sounding like a broken record, but Mathurin's comparison is OG? Seriously??? haha. That might be the worst comparison Ive ever seen on these shows.

Haha dont come with that BS with me. I didnt mention Russillo's race 1 time. Im mentioning guys that ca actually be good at this job. Perk clearly isnt good at this job, I dont give a crap if Perk is black, white, asian, hispanic or whatever. He sucks at his job. If ESPN wants better ratings for these kinds of events (which they struggle to get ratings for), maybe they should start focusing on hiring guys that are actually good at their jobs.

Yea yea yea, it should all be based on merit blah blah blah. I've heard all that before. It's a systemic issue. I'll leave it at that.

I'm not high on Sharpe, but NBA players develop well in Portland.
