I'd roll with..

Tyus Jones /Jalen Brunson
Justin Simon/ Antonio Blakeney/ Luke Kennard
Stanley Johnson/Jaylen Brown/Malachi Richardson
Justise Winslow/Kameron Chatman
Myles Turner/ Stephen Zimmerman

russell not participating is disappointing. dozier was a darkhorse to make the roster too imo.
with the new additions/subtractions to the pool i'd have a roster similar to yours except i'd take trier over blakeney (even though i'm more familiar with blakeney) and i'd have chase jeter on the roster, maybe in the place of malachi richardson.

Trier is transferring to Findley Prep. Thornton is still there right? Wonder how that backcourt works out. Trier seems ball dominant.

trier does appear shot-happy, but if thornton could flourish alongside both rashad vaughn (who likes to play with the ball as well) and kelly oubre, who are both shot-happy, then he can play with trier. the ball will be in thornton's hands though.

should make for a fairly exciting backcourt

yeah pretty crazy measurements. Dont know Tyler Dorsey's measurements but that still makes for a fairly tall/long backcourt at Zona.

Supposedly

Trier is AZ bound, hence Findlay, and Dorsey is going to UCLA. We will see.

He hasn't but thats word on the street. Trier just received an AZ offer, Findlay is a UNLV/AZ feeder school and Sean Miller is assistant coach for U18. Dorsey made sure to point out redundancy of he and Simon. Lots of smoke.

i like Lex. He's a bruiser, plays hard, dunks anything he can, like the shot blocking hoping to see him apply/keep discipline with that at Kansas, curious to see him bang with guys his size. Not to say he can't but seeing it on a regular basis should be interesting to say the least. want to see more out of him in terms of post game but reports are that he's put in some good work with that.

Oubre i'm still not completely sold on, but i do like his athleticism and im curious to see how coach Self handles a much more aggressive player from that position this year as opposed to last.

interesting tidbit. i know dorsey sees himself as a PG so i could see where he's coming from, but UCLA also has a commitment from jrue's little brother aaron, who's also a PG. maybe dorsey sees him as less of a threat for the ball than simon.
i thought dorsey and simon could have coexisted. simon's not really a ball-dominant guard. he can slide over to the 2 or play more of a utility guard role.

You know how it is when kid's camp gets in their ear. Allonzo Trier or Isaiah Briscoe are great back-up options for AZ, though. Not sure what Alford is thinking at UCLA, though.

that's true too, but then again, it seems as though most blue chippers don't see past 1 yr in college.

Thats true though looking at clips it doesnt seem Dorseys a one and done type talent..

If Arizona gets Trier or briscoe and loses Dorsey is that a huge dropoff or not really?

i don't like him all that much as an nba prospect. his 1 and done chances are very slim imo.

all 3 are pretty similar guards. scoring heavy combo guards, with trier being the most SG of the bunch.
i personally think briscoe would be a slight upgrade over dorsey. i think he'll be a physically punishing guard at the college level. trier/dorsey looks like a push though. briscoe's also the most PG of the 3 so there could be some conflicts with simon. i personally think he'll stay closer to home.

Found an article on the addidas eurcamp and its extremely critcal of Maker and Smith JR

http://www.basketballinsiders.com/the-y ... -eurocamp/

All the other sites i read while they said both players struggled at times also mentioned theyre great potential and stregnths this site basically said they dont know if these guys are top 10-15 picks in 2017 which seems kinda absurd to me

Ive never seen this site before maybe its one of the sites that tries to be overly different and pretend theyre reinventing the scoutign wheel and tell you how theyre the only ones who realize these players are overrated that everyone else thinks will be very good eventually

that didn't sound overly critical to me. sounds like they saw 16-17 y/o's play against guys 3-5 yrs older than them, many with professional experience.
