Re: Luka Doncic
He is Gordon Hayward on steroids, different physical body type early on, Hayward was less bulky, although he has gotten bigger, but they play really similar.

Re: Luka Doncic
If you combined 2 Jazz players in Exum and Hayward, I would say you would probably get Doncic.

Apart from him being already incredible on offense for his age, I especially love the improvement in his defense. It's insane to me that a 17 year old kid can switch on defensive assignments from 1-4 comfortably at the highest euroleague level. Also is anyone else impressed by his rebounding?

His rebounding numbers are passable, but its been only 3 games, speaking of eye test, I havent noticed his rebounding that much. But I noticed his defense, very versatile. Not really surprising, guy is tall and light on his feet. What is his wingspan?

He is a good rebounder. He displays an above average compete level and good instincts pursuing the ball off the rim. He competes.
15,07 Total rebound pct in 7 games (ACB + Euroleague). It's a very good rate.

Re: Luka Doncic
If I read Spanish boxscore right, Luka just had 9 assists in 22 minutes.

This guy reminds me of Jabari Parker.

I don't see that many similarities. Doncic looks like he'll be a capable shooter, is already a very good playmaker and while he's not an athletic wimp he is also not Jabari "I lost some weight and I'm cosplaying Blake Griffin now" Parker. What part of his game reminded you of Jabari?

Jabari Parker + Defense.
what makes you think jabari isn't a capable shooter and not a good playmaker?

When's this kid going to be in the draft. 2018/19? Looks like a stud.

2018 at the earliest. Another of the fantastic prospects from the European continent who has instinctual, above average passing ability (Giannis, Saric, Bender).
Hopefully he goes to a good team who recognizes this ability. Think he can be a version of Gordon Hayward with a playmaking-centric mentality. Maybe some issues with his lift off one foot on drives, seems to have issues finishing strong drives in traffic in the ACB. But his IQ is off the charts, his defense will be solid if not above average, and his shooting is coming along nicely.

His body of work. Jabari is a career .75% free throw shooter, a career .259% 3 point shoter and is averaging 1.7 apg for his career. What about this says he's a capable shooter and a good playmaker?
Also Jabari plays more and more the PF position (because of his godly athleticism) while Doncic is more of a PG/SF.

Re: Luka Doncic
Considering the fact one is PG and the other is PF, they can look somewhat similar on some plays

I'm not saying that Embiid will be best center in the NBA and Doncic will be best European in the NBA(of his time), but they may be.

Damn he's good. That hezi at 1.17 was CLEAN. I also like that this uploader shows us his turnovers, which seem to be more lack of experience plays than low iq plays.
