Re: 2022 international class
I have a hard time believing Daniels is 6'8 unless Beauchamp is at least 6'8 as well

Re: 2022 international class
Procida has some of the best functional, in game vertical athleticism that I have seen from a Euro swing prospect in all my years of payng attention to the draft. I cant say that I have watched much non-highlight related on him, but the shot looks good (Albeit with a odd hitch) and the functional hops are there. He seems like a clear-cut R1 prospect - Why is he getting mocked in R2?

Probably because he's mainly gifted athletically but not yet technically... he needs to improve a lot of areas to play as a perimeter player at highest level (NBA or Euroleague), starting from ball-handling and court-awareness.
That's why he could be a 2nd round project at this point... he's no Belinelli who was an Euroleague starter (and former italian league champion) back in the days... just an example.

I get that his handle is poor, he plays faster than he processes and he forces passes.
But his athleticism + 40% 3PT + 80% FT + a relatively meh class has him firmly as a later FRP guy to me. I think the handle is the biggest issue as processing will come with time and effort and in so his passing likely improves IMO (Alot of his passes come from that same playing faster than processing issue it seems). His motor is a + too IMO.
Just odd seeing someone like Bolmaro go 23 and this guy who, to me looks much better, is projected R2 in a meh draft.

It's not a meh draft IMO.
All of these guys could potentially get picked ahead of Procida:
Chet Holmgren
Paolo Banchero
Jaden Ivey
Jabari Smith
Keegan Murray
Tari Eason
Jeremy Sochan
Bennedict Mathurin
Shaedon Sharpe
Leonard Miller
Jalen Duren
AJ Griffin
Dyson Daniels
Dalen Terry
Malaki Branham
Blake Wesley
Terquavion Smith
Johnny Davis
Jalen Williams
Ochai Agbaji
Ousmane Dieng
Alondes Williams
Nikola Jovic
E.J. Liddell
Christian Braun
Tyty Washington
Jean Montero
Wendell Moore
Jaden Hardy
Mark Williams
Julian Strawther
Bryce McGowens
Kendall Brown
Isaiah Mobley
Jabari Walker
Kevin McCullar
MarJon Beauchamp
Caleb Houstan
Dominick Barlow
Matteo Spagnolo
Jaylin Williams
Caleb Love
Julian Champagnie
Kennedy Chandler
David Roddy
Justin Lewis
Jake Laravia
Fabian White
Ziga Samar
Orlando Robinson
Patrick Baldwin Jr
Koloko
Kessler
Kamagate
Trevion Williams
That's 55 players..
He might sneak into the late 1st round but it's very likely he goes somewhere in the 2nd round..
Nothing wrong with having a different opinion - as long as it's done respectfully. It'd be lame if we all agreed on everything

Re: 2022 international class
I actually expect a pretty strong showing for the internationals from maybe 15 or so onwards this year...
Why? Lots of teams with multiple 1sts, that don't want more than 1 or 2 rooks on the roster. With (what I percieve as ) teams being less willing to trade future firsts and/or down from higher spots in the draft, that leaves draft and stash as a pretty attractive option, especially with several guys that look good enough to me to justify a late 1st round pick:
Ousmane Dieng
Nikola Jokic
Gabriele Procida
Gui Santos
Ismael Kamagate
Matteo Spagnolo
Ziga Samar
and more who are worth a second rounder easy - Badji (assuming he stays in) will get a 2nd from someone purely on physical profile...

1st round draft and stash of foreign players still exists? I think that may have come to an end.

Wolves stashed Bolmaro last year

Depends in which part of the country , but going by Crowds and Sponsorship $ it goes like this
AFL
Cricket
Soccer
Rugby L
Rugby U
Basketball
Basketball has a long way to go to catch the top 2 in Australia , it does however have momentum to catch the next 3 sports.
Soccer/Football is miles behind Rugby League (and I'm a fan of both). AFl is definitely Number 1, but league is Number 2 with Cricket a close 3rd.
Union and Soccer are a pretty distant 4/5th and I think Basketball has closed that gap significantly in the last few years.
Biggest issue for Basketball is the amount of talent that goes to AFL and trying to compete commercially against AFL/League/Cricket.
Big Positive is that Basketball has huge junior numbers and our talent coming through is better than it's ever been. Watched a lot of the U18 and U20 Nationals just held, and these's so much talent now. Players can now see a pathway to college and the NBA
Sometimes a player's greatest challenge is coming to grips with his role on the team

Dyson Daniels is an international player too and will likely be picked they highest of any listed.

Re: 2022 international class
After Banchero (half-italian), Procida and Spagnolo there's another promising italian kid that has declared for the 2022 NBA Draft: Leonardo Okeke, a 6-11 (7-3 wingspan) PF born in 2003 and playing in italian 2nd division.
Here's a scouting report: https://www.nbadraftjunkies.com/leonardo-okeke
It seems he has a promise from a NBA team to be selected in the 2nd round...

nba teams are allowed to talk with prospects already?
Nothing wrong with having a different opinion - as long as it's done respectfully. It'd be lame if we all agreed on everything

Just saying Karlo Matkovic is a sleeper. Just makes winning play after winning play:

Re: 2022 international class
I'm a fan of Ousmane Dieng...but it's funny how someone like Jaden Mcdaniels fall down to #28 and Dieng is a consensus lottery pick... teams really do love the mystery in a box picks.

i don't think dieng is a consensus lottery pick.
I'm seeing him projected anywhere in the 12-28 range..

Well, i don't know... maybe no. But who knows... just a verbal promise, nothing written i guess.
