Have you had a chance to watch him in a full game? I ask because asthetically he may very well not do a whole lot for a lot of folks. It took me watching full games to become sold on all the little things he does really well that don't necessarily translate through physical gifts.

Yeah I was in the same boat with you off of highlights until I got a chance to watch a few games of his and really got an opportunity to watch how he controls the game, how his lack of athletic gifts get covered with his understanding of space and balance, extremely high IQ, shows up in big moments, comes across as a great teammate, and is a legit two way player despite the lack of quick twitch.

They aren't full games but Ive posted a few Cade only possessions on both sides of the ball for a few games of his in his thread. Check those and watch the little things until you get a chance to see a full game. Best thing that can be said is he simply knows how to play the game.

this is actually turning into a pretty deep bigs class imo, obviously headlined by Mobley but there are some serious physical talents depending on who's in/out

So what's your comp for him?

Heavy combo of a lot of folks TBH. Some B. Roy, big Andre Miller, some shades of Luka, defensively it's hard to say. Very versatile, switchable, rotates well, makes the right reads.

Have you watched the NBA over the past 10 years? He’s the archetype of a franchise player.

Greg Brown has 1 assist in 289 mins...how is that even possible? compare that to Kai Jones in the same scheme who has 10 assists over the same amount of mins.

1 assist to 30 TOs...I want to like this guy's potential but I can't get over this ratio

Anyone think Kai Jones is good enough to draft right outside of the lottery?

He's still pretty skinny and therefore not the best rebounder, but after Mobley he seems like the most skilled big in this draft. Which is a pretty impressive feat for someone that started playing basketball at the age of 15.

Is he really that skilled? I've watched a handful of Texas games and he hasn't really stuck out to me. He's a 65% ft shooter and has a negative ast/to ratio. People that love him like Vecenie seem to harp on his defense too so I'm failing to see what the major appeal is.

What's wrong with having Green over Suggs?

Jared Butler may not end up an allstar, but he's going to be a really good guard in the NBA.

I would be tempted to give Garza a shot in the 2nd round
