I just caught this. If he reclassifies that makes this class more exciting to me.
Yeah he's announcing in a few days where he'll play. seem to be leaning Kentucky? though Ignite / NBL and a few other school is also on the table
Seems like a real athletic marvel to me, but is there skill there?
I need to watch him more. Seems more like a old school center being compared to D.Howard. 6'9 7'5 wingspan with freak atheltic ability. Not a guy you take one I think hes gotta be top four at this point.
I can't see him passing Chet. Chet might have the flawed body type but his game is so modern. He can dribble, shoot, pass, elite rim protection just everything you want a modern big to do skill wise.
That's where I'm at at least right now, though his feel seems pretty good. I would kinda be more intrigued if he goes to the Ignite because the G league is much more of a open court style that would test if he can actually like.. defend in space. (though it probably makes life for the rest of the Ignite prospects a bit harder.)
He's probably going to be a pretty high variance outcome guy no? if he's one of the very few bigs that can't be played off the floor, that's like at least a top 30 player and any sort of skill would make him a top 10 to 15 guy easily, but if he's not up to that level then he's bound to be a really overpaid guy who can't really win in the playoffs. At best he's a awesome regular season guy.
