Sounds like Adebayo is leaning towards UK, I dont really understand how is he going to fit, likely theyd have,

Briscoe or Ulis(one is coming back)-Hawkins
Fox-Mulder
Matthews-Gabriel
Adebayo-Willis-SKJ
Humphries-Wynyard-SKJ

Gabriel and Willis are going to have to play SF/PF, I dont think Monk goes there over Arkansas, but if he does, there are going to be around 3-4 guys not playing at all.

Just saw that as well. Always thought Bam was locked for NC State with Smith already there and potentially Alkins.

i'm just thinking in terms of Calipari's track record not necessarily fit for the player.

Cal isn't a miracle worker who makes players into great NBA players he is a great recruiter who gets great players every year.

Adebayo will get picked based on how his game translates to the pros not what school he goes to.

Cal developed camby, Harrelson, dorsey, Chris Douglas roberts. Especially camby are examples of players who weren't top twenty players cal developed into nba players. And it's very possible Briscoe goes pro with ulis if we get monk.

Okay but Camby was the only one that had a successful NBA career. And Briscoe is a 5 star top 15 recruit who is on most people mock drafts for this upcoming draft. So if he gets drafted this year its not because he is playing for Cal and developing under him. UK is putting a ton of players into the NBA because Cal is getting the highest volume of top recruits. Its not because he is the best at developing talent.

Kentucky was able to break the shoe ties and aau ties to sell winning. Another guy i forgot to mention as a cal success story was Bledsoe. He was a top 40 player who had very little confidence if you know his back story. Cal really got him to believe he was going to be a very good player. That's coaching.

Look guys want to go to the NBA.

Last two years: James Young, Julius Randle, Willie Cauley-Stein, Devin Booker, Trey Lyles, Karl-Anthony Towns.

Six guys taken in the first round of the NBA draft. That's the point of this. Not playing time or anything else. NC State has TJ Warren and that's it, when it comes to putting guys in the league. And Warren had to explode as the best scorer in the ACC to get drafted.

Bam is a highlight reel waiting to happen. Basically Antonio McDyess (pre-knee), Kemp and Amare (pre-everything). Dude's going to do his one year at UK, throw down ferocious thunderous dunks, get drafted in the top 15-18. And that will be that.

That would mean something if both schools recruited anywhere near the same level..they don't

Cal gets the best of the best every year that's why so many guys get picked high

Might be uk's best team next year. That's gonna be as good a college backcourt in terms of nba potential we've seen in years

I thought his brother wanted Malik to make his own decision in an article I read earlier this year yet his brother stopped him from going to Arkansas? Odd.

Best team Cal has crafted though.

My guess is Malik's brother made that up to take the heat off his brother with Arkansas fans and put it on him
