Re: 2021 NBA Draft
aggro Cade is so fun to watch, it's nice to see that he has explosive scoring ability in him when he wants it, that's huge for him.

Re: 2021 NBA Draft
Todd is too special of a talent to not go 1st round, sure he shoots everything and he is raw, but the guy's fluidity and shot making talent, and athletic tools at 6'10... no chance he slips to the 2nd

Jesus! Cade went bonkers today. Cade at his best is probably in a tier of his own( Mobley might be the closest tho). I hope to god we get the first pick this year. Shai and Cade would be bananas.

Jalen Green with another great game today.
I would pick him number 1 for sure.

I agree with you.
It's a joke that so-called "draft expert" Sam Vecenie keeps underrating Todd. In his latest big board he put Todd at 62.
I would easily take Todd in the first round.

The Pelicans look like they want to take a run at the top 5.

Re: 2021 NBA Draft
I wish Marcus Garrett could hit a spot up 3. I think his defense is ready now but he's a shaky projection even as a 4th/5th option spot up guy.

Mobley or Kuminga would be ideal additions for the Pels.
Mobley: A moble rim protector who can pass and has clear potential spacing the floor
Kuminga: Huge athletic wing with plenty of potential as a defender.
Getting a top 5 pick in this class would be such a great thing for that franchise long term.

Any of Cade,Mobley, Suggs, Kuminga, Green would be awesome IMO. We aching for more premium talent on the team. Kuminga would be my last choice of these from both a talent and fit standpoint, but I'd still be thrilled to have him. Plenty of front court minutes to be had, even with two studs at the 3/4.

Something about Cade being dropped off in there alongside Zo (if they decide to keep him) replacing Bledsoe sounds like the win to me. The ball movement and defense paired with the buckets B.I. and Zion get you would be insane.

I didnt include Cade because I dont see the Pels getting the #1 pick. If they sneak into that 5th pick, I could see Kuminga or Mobley still being there.
But if they did. I would look to completely rehaul the roster.
Zion/Cade then blow up the rest. If Im taking Cade, I want the ball in his hands 7-8 seconds minimum per possession. Only good things come for your offense if he has the ball in his hands. Let Zion soak up about 4-5 seconds per possession (be the guy with the ball in his hands when Cade isnt on the floor).
There would be your unstoppable duo. BI has good trade value, 23 year old all star wing that can score at all 3 levels and on a 5 year deal (4 after the end of this season). Lonzo has definitely boosted his value back up as well with his defense and his consistent shooting. BI as just an off ball 3, you arent maximizing his value in that role and you can get someone better to fit. So I would flip BI, flip Lonzo. Get a legit elite off ball 2 guard. Get a shut down defensive wing. Then just let Cade and Zion go to town.

If he did that, Griffin should get fired on the spot.
