Miller just put up a 13-25, 5-11, 33, 4, 3 & 4. It's all over folks.

Re: Scoot Henderson
I said prior to the draft, Scoot reminded me of Baron Davis. Baron stunk his rookie year too and had a great career but certaintly no one can criticize MJ's decision to draft Brandon Miller at this stage. He's been better than advertised as a shot creator, especially inside the 3 pt line so he looks like a legit 1st or 2nd option.
Charlotte building something nice with Miller, Melo & Mark Williams.

B-Diddy stunk his rookie year, but you could see the elite athleticism with him. Scoot does not have elite athleticism, it's nowhere close to what B-Diddy had.

Could see Micic passing Scoot on the rookie ladders by the end of the month, which would be hilarious

Re: Scoot Henderson
I have never seen a fanbase ****-talk like this after managing to beat one of the worst teams in NBA history to break their own 11 game losing streak.
Scoot has zero explosion so all of his points will have to come from off the dribble jumpers, but this was pretty obvious pre-draft so I'm not sure why this is shocking people? He can't jump so he has to become an elite shooter. But if he does become an elite shooter, his handle, size, and BBIQ would make him very valuable to a title team.
Obviously his rookie season is disappointing as he hasn't shown much progress to becoming an elite shooter.

Most posters here move on to the next draft in this forum. People are still posting in this thread because Charlotte got an incredible amount of **** from everyone for passing on Scoot me included. Hornets fans should be snapping back because it was pretty ugly on RealGM
Scoot will be fine. I am a little concerned about the lack of athleticism, but LaMelo was the same way his rookie year and showed this year (when healthy) he can get to the rim against anyone.

Re: Scoot Henderson
I specifically **** talked the Hornets because they constantly go after really low character players and then are shocked when they have a terrible team culture year after year.
Miller is an absolutely terrible person with a hard ceiling of Brandon Ingram. I wouldn't have drafted him at any pick and still would not. In a redraft, Anthony Black should go 2nd while Cam Whitmore goes 3rd.

I literally don't know what world you're living in. As if there is a single NBA fan outside of North Carolina that cares about the Charlotte Hornets.

You seem to care about them pretty passionately. To a worrisome degree.

Uh, that's a very weird reply. Not sure what I've ever said to indicate that.

Scoot being a blur and finishing powerfully through or around contact in the open floor isn't some anomaly.
These are fine dunks, but like Ja does these in his sleep. If Kelly Oubre or Victor Oladipo do these dunks I don't think anyone is in shock. He is a fine athlete, above average. Just not generational like he is getting sold as.
LMAO the first time I see "generational" in this thread is from JMAC. Literally nobody else is throwing out that term before him.

Scoot should absolutely not be in the rising stars game. League is an effing joke.

Hes mad because he was hoping Scoot would have a bad shooting line in the game so he could come on here and bash him for it, but it didn't pan out that way.
One of the main characters from this thread posted during last all-star weekend that Scoot looked like a bust because he shot 1-5 in the Rising Stars game...

Games 7 through to 43 he's shooting about 35% from three. Considering that's the only really efficient thing about his game, it's kind of surprising it's like the strength of his game in the nba. I'm pretty sure he was supposed to be able to slash through defences and finish at the rim with wingspan, jumping and grown man strength, if not his rookie year, soon after joining the nba.

Let's playin for 9th!

Re: Scoot Henderson
Big J takes every possible chance to poop on Scoot. But what would he have the Blazers do with the #3 pick? I'd still take Scoot at #3 even today. I feel good about him having a better career than everyone else in the draft picked after him.
