excited about the usual obviously (Tatum, Jackson, Giles) but also looking for breakout performances from DeAaron Fox (shoutout to Reanimator, I'm finally onboard now) Jonathan Isaac, Malik Monk, and curious to see Azubuike and Bam in this setting.

I hear Fultz is a gem but I haven't had the chance to peep for myself. So i'll be keeping an eye on that guy too. Last time I saw VJ King he looked pretty decent prior to that I hadn't been impressed so hopefully this is a continuing uptick.

Even though I hate MSU, Miles Bridges is going to be really really good.

Yep looking forward to Fox as well. I have him as the best PG from his class even with a healthy Jr.

Also, I saw earlier on Twitter that HG3 himself tweeted he won't participate in any of these HS All-Star events. Still rehabbing then.

That makes sense probably better for him as well.

HG3, if that is Harry Giles just smh, we need to stop with some of these nick names lol.

I will definitely be watching the Jordan Brand Classic as I watch all the big hs all star type show cases but the only one I really look forward to is the Nike Hoops Summit. Has the feel of an actual game and we get to see the international talent involved as well.

Azubuike committed to KU over UNC and FSU, weird choice, Dunno whats going to happen in Lawrence but if everyone is back, and they should barring something weird, they would again have a far too stacked frontcourt.

These kids keep going to Kansas and then they come into the league and are terrible. I honestly do not get it. Azubuike is not going to play as a freshman at all.

Well to be honest Self is the best out there in terms of teaching bigs, I do understand it, plus its Kansas.
It all depends what happens with Diallo, he might declare even if he doesnt play much since this is a weak class, then there is an opening for Udoka to even start.

What Kansas big under Self has become a good NBA player? The Morris twins?

It may be very premature but what do people think of Isaac Humphries from UK? He's Australian so is an interest to me and 12 rebounds in 20 minutes in their last game. Does he have a place in the NBA sometime in the future?

For sure, he should stay at least until his Jr year though, next season its going to be difficult for him, a ton of competence and very little spacing, Calipari recruits names but not guys that fit.

Fox-Briscoe
Monk-Hawkins/Mulder
Willis-Matthews
Adebayo-Gabriel/Killeya-Jones
Humphries-Wynyard

I hope Bolden doesnt make the stupid decision of committing to UK.

It seems as if Self tries to purposely sabotage freshmen so they don't leave after a year..

He is what Stone was supposed to be, really fluid offensively.
I absolutely love Lonzo Ball, his shooting mechanics are woeful but he can shoot it, and he has a fluid and quick release so it mgiht not matter.

Kentucky is going to suck in terms of spacing if they cant get something from Matthews, they have 0 shooters in that frontcourt others than Willis and their best shooter in the perimeter is Monk, or Mulder who doesnt play.

I hope Bolden goes to Duke, will make 0 sense to add another banger to UK, they have already 3 guys that are better suited to play Center.

Ball is definitely a thing to watch. A better version of Kyle Anderson if Kyle Anderson actually had some athleticism. Ball's passing and vision is insane. And Ya his shot is ugly but it seems to work for him

I never thought to put that Kyle Anderson brand on Lonzo, always saw him as a J. Kidd light type of player. Lonzo's shot at this point might be better served to just be left alone. He doesn't elevate as is, the release is quick, and he's a tall PG anyway so it might not be a problem going forward to just leave it alone especially considering the range and success rate he shows with it.

Josh Jackson on the other hand might need some tweaking. His release isn't nearly as quick, arch isn't as high, and his elevation doesn't improve any of his trajectory issues. plus he'll be playing against guys of equal size so he's not cancelling out that aspect. As it stands he's crafty, quick, and wiry enough to get to the rack so his jumper isn't a problem at the moment but stronger guys might hinder him a bit.

Still love either Josh, DSJ, or a healthy Giles as the top pick but I think Lonzo may help his stock quite a bit this year and I also loves me some Frank Jackson. Very much looking forward to what he brings to Duke next year.

I really hope Josh goes with Izzo, it certainly sounds that way at least, Kansas will be okay, especially since Greene left, but Arizona would be an awful call for his game.

I wonder about how UCLA is going to play, likely they are bringing back everybody and they have been starting Holiday, who is a good player himself, does Lonzo get the starting nod ahead of him?

Holiday/Ball
Alford-Ali
Hamilton-Allen/Paras
Bolden-Leaf/Olesinski
Welsh-Goloman/Okwarabizie/Anigbogu

I guess if Hamilton declares they might go with 3 Guards plus Bolden or Leaf and Welsh in the middle.

They'll have to find some kind of way to get Lonzo some good minutes with 2 of the 3 other Balls having verbal commits to UCLA and from what I've heard about the family they're pretty used to getting their way.

I mean he is going to play for sure, just not sure if he does so as a the starter and the man.
