Jaylen Smith towering over Wesson. Makes Wesson look like a G-Leaguer vs an NBA big.

Smith muscling him, using his brain, drawing fouls, hitting threes and just being big. Look like a real NBA 1st rounder.

It's still really early in the process so these are far from final but here's my top 10 so far:

My top 10 is the draft is:

Draft grade/potential

1. Obi Toppin- 8/8.5

2. LaMelo Ball - 6.5/9.5

3. Anthony Edwards- 6.5/9.5

4. Onyeka Okongwu- 7/8.5

5. James Wiseman - 6.5/9

6. Cole Anthony- 7.5/8

7. Tyrese Haliburton - 7/8

8. Killian Hayes - 7/7.5

9. Tre Jones - 7/7.5

10. RJ Hampton - 7/7.5

Note: it's very early in the process. A lot of these guys will show more potential as the season goes along. I tend to be rigid at this point of the draft with potential of most players, so take it with a grain of salt outside of the ones I've seen a ton of like Edwards, Wiseman, Okongwu, and Ball.

It was interesting to watch Chol Marisal. He's definitely not in basketball shape after returning from stress fractures in both legs - he was out of breath in less than 5 minutes - and he looked to have terrible hands, but his defensive ability is impressive. He really moves well for a 7'2 player - someone to look out for 2021 - see if he can stay healthy. Both of MD's starting wings have potential. Wiggins should just give up on being a penetrator - he's too sloppy with his ball-handling - but... he's got nice form on his 3, he can D, and he's a nice athlete. Morsell is a physical defensive wing with great athleticism. Little by little, he's starting to develop an offensive game.

Agree with you on all.
What i like about Morsell is that that he also offers some playmaking.

I hope that the Orlando GM Mr. Weltman sends some scouts to the Maryland games :D

much better from Ant Edwards last night. He looked good. Even showed off for Trae who was sitting courtside. at one point Edwards dunked and Trae was filming it on his phone, Edwards walked over and mugged for his phone. I bet he posted it on twitter, but I'm too old to look into that. Maybe one of you younger cats can find it and post it here?

He played well, also hurt his team a bit chucking in the end when they needed to start driving.

There was one stepback 3 that was Harden esque in a defenders face. Then he got a bit too trigger happy. Potential is undeniable though, Hes confident in his shot and is gonna be a high usage player.

No doubt he's talented, but he hasn't played like a top 2 pick in the draft. He's been an inefficient scorer and really hasn't made up for that by excelling somewhere else. But there's plenty of time for him to improve this season.

Maxey definitely outplayed him last night too. But Edwards tries to do way to many ill advised jump shots once he thinks hes starting to feel it. Most are literally like Harden type 3s

Cassius Stanley put on an athletic show tonight. Probably 3-4 highlight worthy dunks on the night. This one was pretty nasty

All I see whenever I watch Ball play is Austin Rivers pre-NBA. A guy that doesn’t have the shooting or scoring ability to be the type of player he is dying to be.

i'd give Lamelo pass if he wasn't so bad defensively, he's gonna have to supremely efficient on offense to make up the variance, don't know if he can get there.

at least with Zo you can always rely on the D.

And there is no reason for me to think a guy that has always been not that efficient is going to just become a super efficient scorer. He's a shot chucker with a busted shot right now.
