You think he’s the GOAT big man shooter?

I mean, who are the guys his size with similar volume and efficiency? You keep saying his attempts are low, but he’s like 2nd all time in attempts for C’s and is shooting about 3% higher than the rest of the top 5.

He’s second all time in attempts for centers, and his shooting percentage is the highest ever for centers over 250 attempts, and stat muse even included forwards like Dirk and he’s still the highest.

I never dug this deep into it until you kept bringing it up, but he’s the best 3 point shooting C by leaps and bounds lmao.

He’s gonna finish first in attempts all time, and has a great shot at finishing first in efficiency given his lead there lol.

I asked because I thought he probably was given how few Cs shoot 3s. Never said his shooting wasn’t special. Thought Zinger would be up there without looking at stats.

I’ve been warped to think 4 attempts is not nearly enough because so few centers shoot them and 4 is nothing special for a guard or wing.

Years ago two per game would have been huge.

My comparison with HS is mainly due to how to they move and play at their size. I think HS will be a good shooting C from 3 in time but like I said above probably 35% at 3 per game. Not close to KAT but still probably top shelf for Cs.

Some Gemini…

The Elite Three-Point CentersKarl-Anthony Towns: Widely regarded as the best shooting center of all time, Towns holds the record for both the most career three-pointers made by a center and the highest career 3-point percentage for the position (hovering around 39.7%). He even made history as the first—and only—center to win the NBA All-Star Three-Point Contest.Nikola Jokić: Not only is he one of the greatest passing big men ever, but the multi-time MVP is also a lethal and highly efficient outside shooter. His ability to hit step-back threes and deep 3-pointers makes him one of the most unguardable centers in league history.Brook Lopez: Initially a traditional, back-to-the-basket post player, Lopez drastically reinvented his game to become a prolific volume three-point shooter. He ranks highly on the all-time 3-pointers made list for centers and provides critical floor-spacing for the Milwaukee Bucks.Honorable MentionsChanning Frye: Known as an early trailblazer for the "stretch-five" archetype, Frye was a pure three-point specialist with a scorching career 3-point percentage of roughly 40.0%.Al Horford: A staple in modern offenses, Horford provides reliable catch-and-shoot three-point spacing.Sam Perkins: Nicknamed "Big Smooth," Perkins was one of the first true centers to step out to the arc and shoot the three with regularity in the 1990s.

Phenomenal fit in Charlotte IMO, exactly the look they needed and didn't have late in the season

The rebounding is pretty elite but you really would like to pair him with a shot-blocker. He didn't do enough to protect the rim to be your full time starting C without some help IMO.

Yeah, I think this is a great fit and pick, but they need to replace Bridges with a true 3&D big forward.
