^ i said that about Peyton Watson last year, who averaged 3.3 pts at UCLA on 32%...he declared and was still drafted in the first (30th)...Caleb Houstan, who also had a bad FS yr at Michigan got drafted 2 spots later at 32...wings are at a premium right now and finding even semi-functional ones means you have to spend a 1st round pick on someone like Watson to try and make it happen.

so yea, Phillips most likely declares b/c there is a still a chance he goes in the 1st just by virtue of his archetype. he'll know better than us tho what teams think of him and that's what's gonna make his decision for him.

For a good while Phillips was one of my favorite players in this year’s draft and I actually had him in the first round earlier this season too. However, the scoring has just been dismal. He’s had nine games where he scored 5 pts or less. I know he isn’t prioritized in the offense but still, dismal.

I have him as my top candidate to return to college. If he can be giving a larger role on offens, show some sort of consistent scoring, or even better a 3pt shot, I think he can go in the lottery next year. With that said, If he does stay in the draft he might still go first round (though it would be a stretch). His FTA rate is ridiculous enough it just screams a physical advantage and he has a lot of upside.

I thought of him as someone who could realistically enter the top 10 if he shot the ball really well. I have no idea what happened to his shooting, though. I expected it to be one of his biggest selling points and he just doesn't shoot the 3 (and is not efficient when he does). So that brings him clearly down, but the FTr (especially in combination with the FT%) is indeed something very positive. I still think he's a clear FRP. Not sure where exactly I'd pick him but somewhere in the teens or early 20s seems about right.

I get the talent with GG Jackson, but man he has the worst attitude of anyone in the draft.

One of those guys that I feel like could be worth a top 10 pick, but also at the same time would rather my team not risk taking a chance on him.

GG's actually a really good kid by all accounts, but yea he's letting his frustration get the best of him at SC

GG's appalling motor and lack of defensive effort at times is a big flag.

I just started watching Taylor Hendricks highlight videos and I am mad I didn’t bother to watch him in game. Is it just the highlights or is he a top-10 candidate for this year’s draft?

He would be a consensus top 10 guy if you surveyed this forum
I’d be very surprised if he’s not on draft night

He's easily top 10 at this point (and been there for a while). Only question is whether he's top 5.

You should still be able to catch some game tape on YouTube. I can only recommend that, he's awesome. And yes, top 10 for me too.

Damn, Felix Okpara could develop into such a strong defender if he ever fills out more.

Elite tools. If he showed any vision whatsoever he'd be super interesting.

How underrated is Dickinson. Not forecasting starting NBA center, but this class has legit 7 footers with good skill base sans Wemby.

Doesn't really offer anything interesting to a modern NBA team.

if he can develop into a legit three point threat (not out of the question, IMO as he does shoot 40+%), where he's shooting a good % on 5+ attempts per, maybe he can be a 10-15 minute guy in the NBA.
