i think there is a strong chance NBA teams are much higher on him than we are, and I don't mean because we are low on him (he's top 20 for me currently) but like they might be top10 high on Flip.

top HS recruit, productive FS season at Duke, pretty safe prospect with some upside, valuable archetype as a stretch big that can rebound with some ball skills. it's not hard convincing yourself he should go top10.

Ya Ive had him around that 18-25 range for a good chunk of the year. And ya I think you definitely can be right and this could be something that Im just over thinking.

But if not, I am curious if he does look at next year's draft class being a lot worse and thinking if he comes out having a great year, he no doubt can go lotto.

i think he's gone for sure, no need to get cute with it - he's a top 25 guy at worst in this class and that extra push you might get in next year's class (and it's never a sure thing) isn't worth getting those 2nd and 3rd contracts a year later.

Is Jake Stephens hiding in plain sight? I know he’s a 5 year guy, but the numbers are eye popping!

He’s awesome for a guy that moves like Lurch. Seriously though the most skilled big in college and yes that’s including Edey. Think I started a thread on him a while ago.

If you think Edey is slow you ain’t seen nothing yet lol. To put it in perspective this dude is 7’1” with a 7’10” wingspan (not a typo) and has 1 dunk this season. It’s incredible.

Maybe just a coincidence, but I actually have all the prospects who were teammates last year on Montverde (the team that won the GEICO national championship) lower than I had them going into the college season.

That team had Whitehead, Hood-Schifino, Dillon Mitchell, Skyy Clark and Malik Reneau.

Where I had them in preseason, then where I have them now:

Whitehead - 5th - 28th
Hood-Schifino - 14th - 27th
Mitchell - 16th - 78th
Clark - 58th - 225th
Reneau - 65th - 198th
Nothing wrong with having a different opinion - as long as it's done respectfully. It'd be lame if we all agreed on everything :)

jock landale - and that's a compliment in case anybody was wondering. landale played 58 games this year for phoenix at 14 mpg and played well. bodes well for a guy like Stephens. though landale does move better than stephens.

You’ve clearly never watched Jake Stephens if you’re making this comp.

Read on Twitter

One of the more interesting prospects. Defensively has a long way to go still. If drafted, he must be developed. And then maybe a 15 minute role after one season. I don't think he can step in right away.
Organization can be defined as an organized body of people with a particular purpose. Not random.

Just for reference, Miller was the #2 on On3 , #29 composite on 247's composite, #21 compositive on On3's composite.

Last year pre-draft, media report indicates bad workouts, and unimpressive play in 5v5. Yes, he actually played real scrimmage basketball. Went back to G-League assuming he didn't get the promise/feedback he wanted.

Just shows the effect of one year on a young player's development.
