Remember folks and I got beat up for it, I said I didn't know if Miller would have a strong enough personality to make ayton the best version of himself

Do you think Rick Carlisle could?

Ayton seems like a guy that'll have a monster game one night and then go to sleep the next four in the NBA. Marvelous talent but bigs that have motor/work ethic question marks are scary. Still gonna be tough not to spend a top 3 pick on him, though.

What's his hand measurements? Anyways, he doesn't palm the ball hard enough and besides that, his elevation on his hooks is just bad.

Its why he's been lob catcher in the half court and a jump shooter.

His bad hands so far has really caught me off guard, because I remember prior to the season starting I read DX's scouting and they said he had massive hands and catches everything.

He's playing much faster than he did in HS. I think we need to revisit this in March. The season is still young.

He's gone thru phases of Kwame-hands but I don't think it's a red flag going forward. I really hate Arizona's offense right now. Between Trier dominating the ball and PJC just not being a good enough PG they're not getting the most out of him. Too much standing around and long jumpers.

Sean Miller doesn't have a strong personality. Yeah he's had some good defenders but developing players? Meh. Ramping up people's motors? Meh

Has he ever shown any go-to ability on-ball before? maybe he just doesnt have that, rarely bigs do

Any takeaways from the McCoy matchup?

Ayton had 28 points, 10 rebounds, 3 blocks on 12-23
McCoy had 33 points, 10 rebounds on 13-17

That’s why I’m asking if he really did say this. I have no idea if he actually did or not. Would be hilarious if he did though.

Still a few too many jumpers for my liking but probably his best game to date:
