Is it just me or does Ware kind of look like he could be Dominick Barlow's brother?

Look the way they move on the court, body language, similar frame, similar moves..

Nothing wrong with having a different opinion - as long as it's done respectfully. It'd be lame if we all agreed on everything :)

Should I already start scouting potential veteran players we trade down with our pick for?

Scoot Henderson signed a seven figure endorsement deal after completing what would have been his senior high school season in the G League. Once one of these young pros get drafted #1 overall, college will take a massive hit in recruiting top prospects even more than they already have.

Meh this would've been bigger news if this happened when college sports didnt have the NIL rules. From what Ive heard, Paolo and Keels both got well over 7 figures this past year at Duke. Talk that Sharpe got seven figures and the dude didnt even play a game for UK. Put it this way, Nijel Pack got over 800k and a car to transfer to Miami a month ago. Im sure 80% of people on here have never heard of the name Nijel Pack. Oscar Tsweibe is making 2.5+ mil this year to come back and play for UK again.

Im all for guys going to the G League but a seven figure endorsement deal isn't a big time game changer for the G League that it would've been 5 years ago. These guys in college are making big time money and they still get a ton more exposure playing in college than compared to the guys in the G League.

Scoot Henderson signing a seven figure deal with Puma is a fact, not hearsay.

CBS, Jeff Goodman (later reported by SI). This isn't fact but hearsay?

I mean it's not really secret how big the NIL spending has gotten in college basketball and football. Again when we're talking guys like Nijel Pack getting 800k+. Ya the big names are getting big time money. It's not hearsay.

I’d argue the complete opposite, once the OAD rule is gone. The G-league then will be gone. They can barely attract much as is, except for a few and now with NIL in play. Good luck as seen by the class of 22’ which I believe they snagged a whopping 4 kids in the national top 50.

i dont think they'll do away with the OAD now, funneling players at least for a year to the G League seems like the better long term play to make the GL a more viable developmental league

The NBA is not for everyone. Foreign prospects like Embiid and Ben Simmons who both played high school basketball in the US will certainly look towards the G League first, potentially like Scoot Henderson at 17 years of age.

The G-League is going nowhere. Dyson Daniels raised his stock significantly in the G-League as did Beauchamp.

not seeing it. Seems slow of foot and a slow twitch athlete. He gets away with so much in high school because of his enormous size advantage.

agreed. And with the G-League they don't have to live on campus and pretend to go to classes. Though, imo that is THE reason kids should go to college if money is the same at both places. But for some, they don't feel the need to bother.

They also have scoot who's likely to be another top 3 pick like Jalen Green, apparently Wemby is considering going to the ignite too because of his opt out but I doubt that happens

I don't see why the NBA will continue to waste money on the G-League Elite, seems a pointless exercise for them
