Currently, yes but there's a TON to work with in Badji IF you can maximize that potential.

I'd be shocked if Badji is ever close to Garuba really

Makur is a lot stronger, better frame, more propensity to get bigger with much wider shoulders:

also, Thon just ended up having terrible BBIQ, I think Maker is better in that department...

Anyone got any thoughts on AJ Griffin? Really early commit to Duke and curious to see some none bias thoughts on him. Lots of Duke fans are claiming he will be in contention for #1 pick, but I haven't seen him play a full game. 6'7 with a 7 foot wingspan, looks like a good athlete (not great), looks like solid form on his jumper as well.

He is really young obviously but has the potential of an elite wing, his size for his age is ridiculous, esp when you consider that he has ball skills and shooting, pretty complete package

Ya from the things Ive seen, I was pretty taken back with how good his handle and shot looks. Considering most guys his age that have his athleticism and physical features usually are more along the lines of Stanley Johnson skill set.

Cade made it official and signed with Oklahoma State. We shall see what that looks like.

I just want to be sold at this point. I can't figure out why i'm not when he's the archetype of the exact player I love to watch.

Cade's attacking remind anyone of Brandon Roy?

I was wondering if you guys agree with any of these player comparisons?

This is the Top 7 players from the NBA draft rooms 2021 Mock Draft and the player comparisons that they listed.

http://www.nbadraftroom.com/p/2021-nba-mock-draft.html?m=1

1.) Cade Cunningham = Smaller Ben Simmons

2.) Jalen Green = Kobe lite

3.) Jalen Johnson = Paul Pierce

4.) Terrence Clarke = Tracy McGrady

5.) Evan Mobley = LaMarcus Aldridge

6.) Usman Garuba = Al Horford, Tristan Thompson +

7.) Ibou Dianko Badji = Dikembe Mutumbo

Johnson is more like Ben Simmons than Cade, Cade is kinda cut from the Brandon Roy, Luka cloth

Those comps are stupid and unrealistic

If Mobley can add the necessary size, I take Evan. If he can't, I move him to the four and take Evan.

I’d take Mobley and I think he’ll ultimately end up going top 2 with Cade in a stronger draft. I think if either of them were eligible for this year’s draft they’d be taken number 1 ahead of Cole, Wiseman and Edwards.

1. they've jumped the Cade one around so much over the past few months. Was bigger Shaun Livingston for a while there. The Ben Simmons one is even further off (and trust me, I been looking!!!) Brandon Roy seems the closest from examining both games but i'll get a better feel for that once i get to watch him next year.

2. kobe is one of those names you should never pair with a high school kid and as much as i like Jalen i don't see the complete arsenal Kobe came in with.

3. Paul Pierce is a no across the board. Jalen has been criticized extensively for not being as aggressive a bucket getter as he should be. that has never been an issue of "truth" and i also don't think Pierce had the same level vision despite being a capable passer. I need to watch more to narrow down a specific player but it will likely be a throwback.

4. I see more PG than T-Mac especially with how the game is played today. Don't know how much that fits on the defensive end but TC like PG is much more sneaky athletic than T-Mac was. T-Mac's bounce popped whereas the smoothness of the attack in both TC and PG's game is so pace and probe based to the point it looks slow at times even though we know it isn't.

5. Even a younger LA would tell you this ain't that. Mobley will likely land in that KG spectrum once it's all said and done.

6. Haven't seen enough, gotta throw that one to our international heads (love you guys btw).

7. I see where they're going with this one. If we're talking modday Dikembe it might look like this but Badji has a long ways to go to meet the mental aspect. Physically i think he would have the potential to be more though.

Moses Moody - Arkansas (like this a lot especially considering the success of Isaiah Joe)
