I was told by people here that Jabari had trash athleticism. That poster dunk that he threw down says otherwise.

that's just college basketball - 99% of these dudes are gonna be accountants or java devs in a couple of years.

It is crazy that most all these guys will just have normal lives while getting no compensation for bringing in huge national TV rating's.

Like throw each kid a $100,000 at least

They should strike then. Plenty more future accountants waiting in the wings.

Hell of a game from Tyrese Hunter to put LSU out, not likely to make it into the draft this season, but work on that shot and he could be a solid bench guard someday.

Jabari has always been animated. In fact, his emotions run too high at times.

Jabari Smith is interesting in that he perfects what he is asked to do. For instance, passing isn't a strength, unless it's a structured play where he is required to make a specific read(s). In that environment passing looks like a strength. Right now he's looking a lot like a 6'10" Glen Rice.

The Mavs missed the playoffs without Brunson.

He's much more physical than Glen Rice was. He doesn't look to avoid contact.

Jabari is the next Rashard Lewis.

Chet is the only one in this class with truly special potential. But with him is also major risk involved but I would still pick him at 1.

I think Manek could possibly stick in the NBA. He’s more athletic than I think most give him credit for and he’s a lights out shooter with decent size. It would be fun the see the Hawks take him in the second round and reunite him with Trae.

every single comp you make for Jabari just gets worse and worse, it's actually incredible.

So, that gives people the liberty to call me names?

  You’re lucky the mods won’t let people call you names otherwise this thread would be 8 more pages just with posters letting you know what they think of your blatant troll posts in this forum.

that said, everyone already knows that college ball was better back in the day when everyone went to college and stayed multiple years. Not really earth shattering of you to post that.

I think you're right and he has a chance to do so. And I like that he's been a contributor from day 1 in that he was scoring double figures even as a freshman at Oklahoma. Do you have concerns about his free throw shooting? I usually feel more comfortable about 1 tool shooter types when they're at least 80% free throw shooters. Manek at 73.8% (and even worse at 68.6% in conference play) worries me a bit about his shooting translating.

Kendall Brown living up to being the most frustrating guy in this class.

Just zero impact at all in this game. Can't blame Drew for not playing him much in the 2nd half.
