Reminds me an awful lot of TJ Ford.. which is a really good thing. Hopefully he avoids the injury bug

Even Isaiah Taylor or Briscoe if they declare, that amounts for about 15 legitimate drafteable prospects, and I think there are 6 that I will be willing to give 1st round grades.
It is a good and solid PG class, and I haven't even added some of the more doubtious ones or the combos (Payton, Allen, Brogdon, LeVert, Sulaimon, McCaw, Baker, Cousins, Lô, Forbes, Brizuela...).

Doesn't look all that impressive...I mean most of those guys won't last in the NBA very long.

I also got no clue how you're humoring guys like LeVert as a PG...

Could have the same role as Brian Roberts and Ish Smith.

Cat Barber really reminds me of poor man's version of Jeff Teague. Not nearly as athletic or good of a shooter, but he's got that speed, shiftiness, and shot creating ability that Teague did back at Wake Forest. Biggest things holding him back is his streaky jump shot and decision making otherwise he'd be the 2nd pg picked in this weak draft after Dunn I'd imagine.

The ultimate Boon or Bust guy.
Jeff Teague or Marquis Teague.

Great upside offensively. Probably won't see it for 2 or 3 yrs though. By then he might end up in the D league or overseas.

His ceiling his very high. If Barber can drain the NBA 3 like he does the college 3, he could be a prolific scorer.

As an NC State fan Barber's poor facilitating and chucking are overblown IMO. Barber played with a lot of offensively challenged players at State and his ability to get shots for his teammates was actually pretty admirable. As for his shooting, I was hoping he'd stay another year to become deadly from three since that's the end all, be all for guards these days but his consistency and ability isn't that bad, really. He can make open shots fairly dependably and knock down contested ones more than you'd think. He had to take a lot of bad shots out of necessity since his teammates struggled offensively and were passive a lot.

He is lighting fast and his handles are nasty, he just dances around defenders in the lane. His size will give him trouble on defense but he gives a lot of effort and is aggressive.

He had the hype coming into the draft, but he went on a decline as soon as he had private workouts.

I feel like he will eventually make the league he just may have to go through some seasoning in the day league.

He's got great handles and quickness. The problem is he doesn't quite have the size or shooting. He needs to become a lethal midrange guy like paul and extend his range

If he's not being aggressive then he's worthless. He lacked aggression in Summer League.

He was worth less as a freshman and terrific by the end of his sophomore year.

I'd be surprised if this guy isn't as good as ish smith a year or two from now and able to land a backup or at least a 3rd string job
