Hate to say it, because I was in on him early (I think I even started the thread) but Kobe has become overrated at this point.

Hate to say it, because I was in on him early (I think I even started the thread) but Kobe has become overrated at this point.

Completely disagree. I don't know what his ceiling his but I'm as confident of him succeeding in the NBA as I am of Wemby and Scoot and Miller. A 6'5 combo guard who can score efficiently at all three levels, can play on and off the ball, doesn't turn the ball over a lot and can defend well?

I struggle to name four players better than him in this draft.

I mean if you start with a false premise, and under that premise there aren't 4 players better than him.

2P% this year was 55%, ranked top 5 in finishing. Only 36% from three but shot 85% at the line, so there's a reasonable expectation of improvement there. I don't have his mid-range shooting stats but eye test + 2P% suggests it's probably high.
