This thread is basically "name every white guy in the NBA as a comp"

It is, but some are better than others. I think Joe Ingles and Bogdan Bogdanovic highlight his whole package. I don't think he will be Doug McDermott or Corey Kispert. Grayson Allen is also decent because he at least has a floor game compared to McDermott/Kispert.

Here’s a question. Who is the better athlete Kon or Darrion Williams?

He's one of the best athletes in the draft. Quick feet, quick hands, agile laterally etc. He just isnt a vertical athlete obviously.

Not a lot of elite athletes who are 6’7” and 2-4 on dunks. But ok!

You're quoting someone who doesn't know what defensive 3 seconds is.

Plenty of NBA "athletes" who don't dunk.

I don't think he's very athletic at all. Very smart and a really good college basketball player but he won't be able to defend in the NBA and he won't be able to create for himself either. I see him as a likely role player off the bench getting 20-25 mpg. Maybe a cross between current Klay and Jacquez

I actually thought the Ingles comp was pretty good. I also think he's a lot better potentially than McDermott.

Comping him to Luka is insane tho

You may want to check how many Dunks Luka has.. Demar.. Harden.. Dillon Brooks.. Josh Giddey.. Taurean Prince. Dunks are an indicator of leaping ability not functional athleticism. Conversely Risacher graded out as one of the worst athletes in the '24 draft and has a ton of dunks.

Not how many dunks they have in the NBA bro. Dillon Brooks had 10 dunks in his final year at Oregon. And he's not 6'7".

And your list...other than DeMar (which is wild you'd mention him) are not good athletes. So why would that possibly be something to bring up? You think Luka is in the NBA if all he could do is shoot?

Much smaller Dirk Nowitzki, Mehmet Okur, Larry Bird, Kristaps Porzingis, Bruno Sundov...but bigger than Steve Nash

They are athletes that are good enough to score, shoot, defend and assist at a high clip which was the original point. I didnt bring up dunking.. I just responded to it. Whatever yours or anyone elses criteria for a plus athlete are is fine but i may disagree.

At least one of his dunks was on someone — It was certainly surprising in the moment:

I feel like we went through this with Reed Sheppard. Kon can shoot it, but you're taking a Bojan at 6 or 7 in this draft. If you're OKC and you got Philly's pick, sure, go for it, you always need more shooting but I'm not sure I want to waste a top 10 pick on him.
Bickerstaff: who's up for kickball?!!
Ed Wood: Only if it's the no-pants variety.
