Yep Chris Bosh/Rasheed Wallace kind of player.

I'm excited this kid has the talent to put us back in tbe Nat'l championship conversation. I'm hoping he's a superstar. We haven't had this kind of talent in a while. :D

Those are good comparisons. His high release on his shot looks like very similar Rasheed too.

I don't know if anyone saw his interview after the game, but Caleb said he has a kill list. And he was highly motivated after basically being treated like a role playing big in the McDonald's All-American game.

Babyjax, you might be right with him, because for him to say that on camera, means to me that his motivation is anything but talk. Wherever this kid is picked, he is out to prove it's a mistake that he didn't go #1.

I'm warming up over here. That kind of mentality isn't something guys learn.

Len Bias (who I actually watched live) is my comp and I think I would have him #2 on my board after Peterson. Nobody is a lock at this point though even Peterson.
Foes..you DO realize I don't see your posts....right?

Wilson doesn't have Bias guard skills and Wilson at 18 is MILES more advanced than Bias at 18. Wilson is more like Bosh where he moves like a wing but plays like a big. NBA Bias was definitely going to be a SF who gave Bird a chance to move to PF and helped McHale transition to a 6th man.

Would you mind adding a link? I've gone through 3 different post-game interviews on YouTube and couldn't find it.

Caleb wilson is a beast. He has to be in consideration for #1 pick at this point.

Holy wow this is the best UNC draft prospect of the 21st century. I could write a dissertation on all the ways this kid absolutely rocks. He is an absolute stud and wired the perfect way. Mark my words this is an NBA star.

For now I tend to agree that KG and Bosh comps are too rich for him, in terms of athletisicm, handles and overall offensive skills.

It was quite challenging to find an alternative comp, eventually I came up with Gen-Z Clifford Robinson.

Absurd athlete and great defensive prospect. Offensively, we'll see since he has a center skill set (like Anthony Davis) and I don't think he can reach center weight.

I think Josh Smith is a good comp on defense. Hopefully he turns out better on offense but Smith was legit on D. Rookie year i saw Smith get 10 blocks against Dallas without a foul.

I mean honestly he's kind of like going back to a Chris Webber type but he's skinnier than that.

He looks like alot like Antonio McDyess to me. Same build, athleticism, play style. Caleb appears to be a better passer though.

I was gonna throw out that comparison. If caleb can get an average 3 point shot and knock down corner 3s, wow his ceiling is extremely high.

Was one of my favorite players of that era. I actually saw him play live at Cal when Jason Kidd was there.

He looks to have a body type to add 20 pounds and get up to 235 over a few years. It would definitely help him get some minutes at the 5.

Elite prospect. Him and Kingston Flemings would be running away with the 1st overall pick is most drafts but not this one. Insane how good both of these freshman are.

I cannot think of many drafts where either would be running away with first overall, especially Flemings, except for 2024 in recent memory.

Wilson standing reach of 9ft is just below Bosh 9'1 which means he's long enough to eventually move to the 5 by his 2nd contract.

His metrics are insane. Him and Boozer are running away the best metrics for a college 4 putting them in the rare elite Zion tier. Insane class
