Nice game last night. Looks like he is over that illness.

He's inched up in every mock I've done on my website, and now he's at #9. I'm easily taking him over Nate Ament and Mikel Brown.

He's a lot more willing to mix it up then I initially thought. I thought he might be a Jared McCain type goof, but he has legit toughness.

McCain acts like a goof off the court but he's absolutely locked in on the court

Reminds me of Jamal Murray. Also shades of Brandon Roy.

Burries will drive to the hole and dunk on a big and is incredibly physical. He played against Houston with the flu and defensively was a menace. McCain is just not that kind of player to me, but I am biased against him since college (and I admit it).

I also do like the Jamal Murray comp I saw from VC4pres.

Brandon Roy lite is a good comp.

Very high floor. May even be Cason Wallace.

Just doesn’t have the on ball chops to be a lead guard.

My comp for him is toned down Jalen Suggs.

I know it was against my Buffs, who barely qualify as a team, but man he looked good. 31 points and 5 steals.

Buffs have a nice backcourt. There might be an Isaiah Johnson thread here next year.

Wow.

Brayden Burries (and Arizona in general) has no answer for Elliot Cadeau.

I still like him a lot, but he's going to have to show more consistent perimeter shooting. His downhill game is nice, but if he can't consistently stroke it from deep, teams are going to play him like he's Ricky Rubio and go under every screen. This is why I continue to be a Philon guy. I don't see many weaknesses.

I suggest you watch nearly any other game he's played since January.

If this is your first look at him, I wouldn't take much stock into this. Arizona just got blitzed. Everyone looked bad tonight.

The knee jerk reaction itt to tonight’s abortion of a game is kinda hilarious.

Would you expect anything else from this board?

You can tell who only watches during the tournament.

Which is fine, of course. But don't come into the draft board acting like you know anything off of one game.
