WCS got worse?

Man I wish I could get worse and still get drafted in the top 10.

Lee was a volleyball athlete that they got more out of his ability then most could. Poythress had a great freshman year a sophomore slump then was having a very good junior year but tore his acl. Tremendously affected his game. He's in the nba though. Stein improved into the best defender in college. The harrisons were highly overrated in hs and played a bully ball style but they did both make nba teams. Teague never got worse, I don't think he was able to get out of the pressure of being Jeff Teagues brother. Like another person said, Harrelson had zero pro chances before Cal. He was a unrated hs player that did ok in juco, sat on the bench till his number was called. Liggins went from wanting to be a scoring pg to a elite wing defender. If he not gotten into legal trouble his rookie year he might of carved out a solid nba role but he's made it.

Amen. He was a football player in hs that had zero passion for basketball, that developed into a very good rim running big who was also able to guard anyone's best player. The only guy I can say Cal mismanaged was skal but I think no one in the past pushed him to be physical and he resisted it. Once Cal just let him shoot the jumper he was more effective but he truly wanted to help his post game

It's just blind hatred for Calipari. To put as many people in the league (especially non five star players) as he has is incredible and shows how good he is at developing talent. It's underrated by the general public.

Think it comes down to fit with Frank. As others have said, the Bucks are a good fit and other teams with bigger ballhandlers and depth at PG. Don't want him in situation where he has to create for others.

The Pistons, for example, would be a terrible landing spot.

Beside Fultz, Lonzo, Ntilikina, Smith Jr, Fox and Monk, I'd also put in Frank Jackson, PJ Dozier, George De Paula, Derrick White, Juwun Evans, Nigel Goss-Williams and possibly even Edmund Sumner ahead of him. I just think these other guys are really good and have great size (minus Evans). At the same time, I wouldn't let Mason get out of the first part of the second round.

He's got good size and a good first step getting to the rim. He's more of a scoring guard but I bet he's a efficient scorer at the next level. Plus he's athletically gifted looking at all his times and measurements throughout the drills.

I just don't really see anyone in that range I definitely like better then him to be honest. After that first 10-11 players I put the rest of the 1st round basically in the same tier.

Yup he crushed it when it comes to the athletic testing, maybe the 2nd best showing behind Diallo. Add in the fact he is a really strong kid and he can already shoot the ball. That is a hell of a prospect for the late 1st round. The Bucks, Spurs and Jazz would all be really good landing spots for him.

Combo guard scorer. Yeah he has the potential to be a good defender but it's just potential right now

Louis Williams was a hs superstar, like the best player in hs, however he never became a true enough guard. What's wrong with a 10 to 15 year guard that specializes in scoring?

It's not that Lou is bad, it's that I don't see Lou Williams at all. But everyone's entitled to an opinion.

Frank Jackson to me will be an athletic Kirk Hinrich / Corey Joseph type guard in the pros.
