i will close this off by saying i absolutely hated scouting the Thompson twins and hope we don't have to do this again moving forward. any future top prospects that join OTE instead of GLI or college will get auto discounted 10 spots.

these are a mess. This will haunt you for years. You're usually off like most but man, this year you really do not have your finger on the pulse of this (and next year's) draft. But thanks for putting it out there.

brilliant trade for the Nuggets. This being a weak class doesn't mean it doesn't have some value especially in the 2nd round where there's a plethora of older but ready to contribute high floor/low ceiling types. Nuggets desperately need to improve depth if it wants to continue competing for championships. So picking up a 2nd rounder this draft and a first and second rounder in the much better 2024 draft should set them up nicely since they likely lose Brown and KCP. Walsh, Phillips, and Vasquez make a lot of sense.

why so triggered? Just stating an opinion. Shall I go through your posts and point out all the "trying to convince yourself" claims about this being a good class or can we all agree that you're being childish and move on?

Nothing wrong with having a different opinion - as long as it's done respectfully. It'd be lame if we all agreed on everything :)

It's a terrible place for players to showcase their skills & development. Competing against teenagers, we get more info from elite high schools like IMG, etc. that have more talented groups of players. Not going to college or a professional league and instead opting for a place like OTE opens up so many questions. I think the twins are talented enough to overcome this with workpits, but they didn't do themselves any favors, and recognizing this is compeltely rational.

Agreed. If he were playing in the NCAA or G-League I think the consensus for his ranking would be much higher.

Am I crazy for thinking Nick Smith Jr is going to fall to the latter half of the first round?

Ah the Jianlian treatment.

He looks extremely rushed. Great physical profile and athleticism but what real skill does he have offensively outside of being a lob threat?
Being a Blazer fan isn't exactly healthy.

Like I mentioned with Nnaji, what other skill does he have outside of shooting?

Could say the same of Capela or RW3 no? Nnaji is pretty NBA ready as a shot blocker, offensive rebounding looks very good, great mobility.. surprised nobody wants to take a shot on him even with the feel issues as an 18/19 year old.. then again, if Lively can't even get into the top 10, suppose nobody cares about centers anymore... just going to bat for him.. big fan of his skillset, combines a lot of valuable tools..

Falling from where? I would’ve thought the 20s is his range and it’d be a surprise if a team reaches for him in the teens.
