Talk about overreaction  he cant defend a lick and is soft as paper tissue.
He is not going to declare anyway.

He's 18 and a half. Doesn't need to be able to defend right now. On the right team he can learn to defend. The tools are there to be elite. He's a raw prospect, but he has more upside than most guys in this draft.

My issues with Rabb are that he doesn't have anything that stands out. He's mature for his age, but I'm also not sure about his frame. And what team needs a post power forward? I in no way think he's a star and my lottery has to be filled with guys who are or can become stars. Or at least be effective enough to be a 6th man. I'm also not sold about his athleticism.

For me the thing that stands out about Rabb is his high skill level. Especially for someone his age.

Also, with his mid-range touch i see no reason why he can't be a legitimate full-time power forward. Post skill is still valuable for times when a big player can take advantage of a guard who switched onto him in a P&R

Potential sleepers

Im getting caught up in March madness hype.. but what about Thomas Walkup in the 2nd round? Yea he's old and not an elite athlete but I was impressed by his defensive instincts and he showed an all around offensive game.

Could he a combo guard off the bench?

The type of guy that goes undrafted. ....then he ends up as a free agent on the Spurs and in a few years people ask why nobody had this kid on their radar.

The kid has two degrees, so basketball may not be his long term calling.

What I like is that he affects all aspects of the game. Passing, rebounding, shooting, defense. The only bugaboo is his free throw shooting, but who cares when you shoot 45% from 3.

His coach loves him and says he's really smart and funny. Great to be around, and always gives it his all.

The combine will kill him if he goes. He just doesn't have the measurable the scouts drool over. But if Matthew Delevadova can be a productive rotation player, so can this kid. I think he's better than Delly for sure

Walkup is a 6'4 point-forward that can't shoot from 3, I dont really see it, no way he gets invited to the combine lol

He's shooting 64% on 2s. That's impressive for a guy that's a 6'4 point-forward.

I think Isaac Haas is going to be really good. He struggled with less minutes, but I think next season he's going to be a beast.

Thomas Bryant is nowhere near NBA ready. If he declares I think he's a 2nd rounder.

Thomas Bryant is most likely gone, unless the scouts deem him too un-athletic which could happen - he produced enough per minute to be considered though.

Disagree. He's a lotto pick. Not ready right now, but he has tremendous upside. They also said Myles Turner was nowhere near ready... I think Bryant is a Kelly Oubre pick -- underrated, but definitely won't be ready right away. He's the youngest of the class and still has great length. So much potential there.

Who's watched Josh Hart a fair amount? I like the guy, doesnt seem like a superstar but a really solid 2 perhaps. Anyone have some further insight? I don't see him on any draft boards, maybe I'm missing something.
WTB what a dope choice of pics for pp! PURE VELVET dogg! How can we lose with our captain looking like a cross between bishop don juan and iceburg slim?

Scouts seem to love him, but I don't see it. Average defender (capitalizes on mistakes and gets a lot of 50/50 balls), below average vert, below average size, and average speed. He's also not that skilled. He just knows how to play basketball. I see him as a roleplayer in the NBA.

Not that it really matters, but Thomas Bryant isn't the youngest guy in this class

He doesn't appear to be that un-athletic to be honest. The Miles Turner comparison makes sense to me.

Chris Boucher on Oregon got another year of eligibility, but DX had him only 46th among Seniors. The guy has a decent 3pt stroke, is 6'10, blocks tons of shots and just started playing ball 4 years ago. Showed some heart against Oklahoma, too, I thought. Seems like a guy who could maybe be Channing Frye with more shotblocking. That's a late lottery pick.
