I heard he shot great at Chicago and that he actually has a 7'2" wingspan.

He said after his Chicago workout that he didn't shoot that well and wished he had done better.
Working on becoming Titletown:
Bears - 9
Bulls - 6
Blackhawks - 6
Cubs - 3
White Sox - nobody cares :D

(not that I'd let a couple of workouts undermine a NCAA career as a stud shooter)

I hope he falls to us.

If he does, I hope you trade him to us 8-)

yeah still not sure why Philly did that but kudos to you guys.

Next question is: what's happening with Elf Payton? Is D. Book going to be primary ballhandler or are you guys moving one of your wings for a PG?

Great questions.....who knows? For me:

Elf can't shoot so he has to go. Give Knight a run again with Okobo waiting in the wings.
I would love to give Book a go at Point (alas Harden style) and put Mikal and JJ on the wings to defend and let Book take worst offensive player for the other team.
I like TJ coming off of the bench and wouldn't want to trade him for a PG, although Kemba is enticing, but then you'd have a logjam at the 2 and 3 or you play Josh at PF, and I am not too fond of the latter; also, I want to give Bender some burn at the 4. He shot 36.6 percent on high volume and he is still 20.

I envision

Booker/Knight/Okobo
Bridges/Booker/Knight
JJ/Warren/Bridges/
Bender/Chris/Warren
Ayton/Chandler/Bender/Chris

based off of current roster. A lot of moving parts. Love Mikal, perfect player. Catch and shoot, slash and defend. 6'7 and 7'2 wing span. Good kid and a winner. Very seasoned.

I'd honestly be pretty comfortable with Book as primary handler if I were a Suns fan. My concerns would be how he handles ball pressure and how well he executes entry passes to the post. Other than that i'm fine with the idea. I'm also huge on JJ and feel like his playmaking chops haven't been given a proper setting. The numbers didn't necessarily back it but that kid is a damn good passer and I think JJ feeding the entry to Ayton then cutting through while Bridges and Book keep weakside defenders at bay with their shooting might be bread and butter during the course of the season. Either Ayton works one on one or hits JJ cutting or a knockdown shooter opposite side of the floor. Its simple basketball plays made by smart capable kids. I like what you guys and the Mavs have going forward.

sidenote, don't know much about the Okobo kid, what's the selling point with him and i noticed Ulis wasn't listed in your rotation has he fallen out of favor or is the new kid just good enough to push him out?

I envision Booker running the Pick and Roll with Ayton, but JJ is skillful with the ball, even though his shooting is troublesome. But yea, JJ and Ayton with Booker, Mikal and Bender spacing the floor sounds nice too.

Yea, DSJ and Doncic are gonna be trouble and if Bagley and Fox figure out how to mesh........ Lakers need to stop playing the waiting game on the stars or they will be bringing up the rear.

Okobo should be able to edge out Ulis. He's a bit of a late bloomer, but he was very productive in the French league this year as a 20 year old and lit up Aaron Craft and Monaco for 44 points in their first playoff game. Decent frame at 6'2" with a 6'8" wingspan, lefty guard, shot the 3 at 40% on 5 attempts a game, finishes pretty well around the rim and with floaters, solid running the pick and roll. Not great on defensive intensity and more of a developing playmaker as far as decision making goes. I like him though, he's got a shifty handle that I can see developing well.

Here's his game against Monaco:

Does Phoenix spend 2 firsts on him if he's just a 3+D guy?

I'm unsure how Bridges scores enough to get into All-Star consideration though.
