Let's talk about the Jazz's 2023 draft

Keyonte George is FINALLY an NBA player which is nice. Unclear he has the shot making or tools to be a quality starter, but at least has the BBIQ to be a quality third guard.

Brice Sensabaugh's shooting is absurd, but he's so bad defensively that he's just a net really bad player still.

Taylor Hendricks' development has been very weird. He broke his leg so he missed a season and the Jazz seemingly had him focus entirely on practicing his shooting and putting on an obscene amount of weight. He's put on 40 (!!!) pounds of muscle since he was in college and... I don't know, it seems like a terrible idea? His quickness is completely gone and he's way too short to play center.

As of now, Hendricks is one of the worst players in the NBA, good at only two things, spotup shooting open jumpers, and scoring inside. Unfortunately, his total lack of feel for the game and total inability to dribble means that if he gets a hard closeout, he's finished so he's a non-factor on offense. On defense, his lack of feel for the game and average athleticism mean he's a turnstile. The Jazz have seemingly given up on him already as well, with him being nearly out of the rotation five games in.

If he gets some handle, then his shooting and interior scoring could be unlocked, but IDK, he can't dribble at all.
