I dont know what was better choice for him, to go to college or to stay in europe, but I do know joining Cedevita was not a good move (I understand the reasoning behind the decision not the join Olympiacos, that would be a risky move), but I dont know why his manager, Misko Raznatovic, didnt bring him to his club (Mega Bemax, Nikola Jokic played there), as they develop young players, that would be ideal place for him, they would threat him the best way possible... maybe Dzanan didnt want to go there, dont know, but shame really, it would do him a lot of good

The Balkan region is problematic in terms of politics and ethnicity. Who knows what was happening in the background.
See how Zvezda "fans" received Alen Omić (Bosnian with Slovenian passport)... deplorable.

Luka Dončić was lucky to have left all this behind and flourished in Spain. I wonder if it would be the same for Musa. Maybe he thought he could really make a difference if he stayed.

When it comes to money, politics become secondary. Even in balkans.

The thing is that youngsters that are better at defensive end, get an edge as far as oppurtunity in the senior teams go. And by saying that, I don't think Zdovc is an ideal coach for Musa.
Than again, Cedevita didn't seem as the best choice for Arapović, Mazalin either. They obviously try to work as a typical balkan development team, but without the succes Zvezda, Mega or even Olimpija are having when it comes to promoting those youngsters.

In my opinion, in terms of NBA it comes to one thing only for Musa. If he succesfully adds 10+ kg of muscle mass (22+ pounds) he should improve notably on most aspects and in that case it would actualy be fun to re-evaluate his game. He should become a really nice player in the league, If he won't manage to do that, I can see a whole lot of problems for him.

I really don’t think he has the ability to create enough space off the dribble or step-backs to get that shot consistently in the NBA. Hes also not mobile enough off-ball to consistently shoot off of screens. He’s a slasher with long strides that can shoot open jumpers. He’s still really young, but I just don’t see what he does translating super well to the NBA.

it seems like San Antonio Spurs are high on him, RC Buford allegedly went to Croatia to watch him closely

they do like international players, so...

How does he compare to Bogdan Bogdanovic as a prospect?

I'd say he's easily a better prospect.

Bogdan was kind of a late bloomer. Musa is wayyy better than Bogdan at the same age

Such a Spurs player. Will be overlooked come draft time and years later people will be talking about how a bunch of teams screwed up.

I think the Spurs, Nuggets or Warriors are the perfect spots for him.

to be honest, any team where he would play would be a perfect spot for him

if he can have that in one of the best organizations in the NBA (Spurs), even better

but I dont know if team that picks him, will bring him right away or leave him in Europe for a couple of years, due to his weak body

Bring him in. Put him in an NBA nutrition and training program and have him learn the schemes. He doesn't have to play right away, but doesn't mean he shouldn't be on the team developing.

He just turned 18, he should fill out accordingly.

I thought that too, I believe they will start working on his body straight away...

Saric and Bogdanovic chose to stay in Europe for a couple of years, competing on higher level (they played in the same league Musa is playing now, so did Nurkic and Jokic, but they went straight to the NBA)

Bring him in and let Steve Hess do his Magic with him...His agent is same agent as Jokics so maybe he would like to have him playing with Jokic as he knows they can help each other on offense, and maybe that could be one part of negotiations when it comes to Jokics contract.

He's a super sleeper. I have him as a top 7 prospect. He has the tools to be elite offensively.

I like him better for the Spurs though. Danny Green and Rudy Gay are in the final year of their contracts (if they both opt in) and they could use this year to ease Musa into the rotation. Manu is on his final year too and minutes will surely be lesser. Kyle Anderson is an RFA. The only thing that could stir the pot is the Kawhi situation. If he stays, all good and the Spurs will likely look for replacements to the players mentioned above other than Kyle Anderson. If he goes, there's a good chance they'll be getting these replacement wings for him and chances are these could be franchise-player caliber wings.
