Its not about "front offices not sold on him". Its about Miller playing himself to Scoots level or potentially ahead of Scoot on some boards. Miller is playing incredible and everyone is watching these games. Scoots still a awesome prospect.

"Lowering on Scoot" is him not being automatically pick 2 and possibly falling to 3. If Miller wasnt making it a debate it wouldnt be discussed.

Sam V is even replying on the tweet you linked saying he still has Scoot at 2.

silly take by Vecenie, Scoot's improvement is physical this yr, maybe not production wise, he's getting used to pretty much a new body, if you put him in college today he'd be wrecking everyone.

this is Scoot last year:

vs this year:

we pretty much haven't seen anything like Scoot, that's not saying he's this generational prospect, but i wouldn't recommend NBA teams get cute about this.

Why is he shooting 25/75 from the field over his last 5 games if he is some mythical prospect?

but hey he looks good in shorts.

I think it's:

Wembanyama

Scoot
Twins
Miller

everyone else

so him maybe not going #2 wouldn't be shocking

Miller is 29/80 over his last 5 and you are gushing about him so whats the difference? And please don't reference all of those penalty FTs in the last game.

The main difference is clearly 3PAr. And defense but that's another topic.

If you want to discuss shot distribution (valid) or defense (which I think you're overstating) then that conversation can be had, but JMAC3 only posted FGM/FGA.

this rumor floating around that Scoot doesn't play defense is weird.

He’s 6’2, so being targeted on defense is going to be an issue with him. Happens to everyone that size.

assuming someone is a bad defender b/c they are 6'2 is hilarious, is that what they teach you in freelance scouting school? of course maybe you've gotten used to **** defense from a 6'2 guard as a Poole fan.

A. I’m not a Poole fan. B. I never said was a “bad defender”. I said he will get targeted. Stop making **** up.

He is built like a tank, explosive, with long arms and very high spatial awareness....the only person who will keep Scoot Henderson from being at least a net neutral defender is Scoot Henderson.

And I'd argue offensive burden, the tendency to gamble, and general disinterest on that end of the court not their height was the reason why they never excelled in that regard. I don't see Miller or Scoot as plus defenders so any distinction in that area between the 2 just doesn't seem significant to give the nod to one over the other.

Didn’t I tell you to work on your anger issues? Your jealousy is quite unbecoming.
