I don't typically watch HS tape of players, but this guy has the most impressive tape I've ever seen at that level. Just **** insane.

I know he isn't coming to Duke so take this opinion with a grain of salt (I'm a Duke fan), but for years now I've always been suspect as to how his game will translate to college let alone the league with his style of play at 6'6.

He would basically have to be the second coming of Barkley. Which is not impossible, but still a lot to ask for. He's a really good kid however (I know this personally) and so I wish him all the success. I just hope he understands what he needs to add to his game for him to be actually be effective in the league against players bigger than him.

I really wish he had transferred this year to a national powerhouse like Oak Hill or something so that we could have seen him perform against a long national schedule.

If he surprises everyone and chooses Duke I will continue to hype Zion like I have been doing for over a year on here. If he chooses someone else (Clemson) he will then become a raw unskilled wing that is a tweener that will have 0 success and the top 2 guys in this class will be RJ and Cam....

No in all seriousness I think it will be a mistake for him to choose a team like Clemson where he is the only major threat. He doesn't have the type of game to look great in a system like that. He isn't overly skilled and defenses (especially ACC defenses) will be able to key in on him very easily. Those situations are better for super skilled ball dominant guards/wings, not really raw athletic players. I think he would be doing himself a favor choosing a loaded team like Duke or UK.

Even with that said, I worry about his weight and haven't been impressed with his lack of growth in his game over the last year and a half, but I still love his freakish athleticism and his really high IQ on offense. I still have him #1, the more explosive RJ and higher intensity, sharpshooting Cam are definitely making it a fight though.

All the chatter has been Clemson. You should never rule out UK. And the Carolina folks have been especially giddy lately.

So I'd put them in that order of likelihood Clemson > UK > UNC

Damn. @Duke4life831, how does it feel to be fan of the Warriors and Duke these days? Two evil empires, two ‘unfairly stacked‘ teams, two unprecedented favorites. :lol:

Well, this team is going to be must-see TV. The three top prospects of a class in which these 3 are currently in a tier of their own? I hope some veteran teams can at least challenge them next year. I mean, who's going the second most talented team next year? Perhaps Oregon if Troy Brown stays, with the additions of Bol and King as well as another year of development from Wooten, Pritchard and E. Brown – but that's already a huge drop-off compared to Duke's nuclear arsenal.

I just hope that Reddish won't play too passive next to Zion and Barrett. He's the one guy I fear is most likely to ‘float around‘ for stretches during games and I believe that he has the biggest upside of all. Not sure I like the big-3 combo in terms of maximizing talent and development but it sure as hell is going to be fun to watch. Wow.

Any words of who might stay from the current roster? Any chance Duval or Trent will return if their stock keeps being relatively low?

Assistant coach Jeff Capel is the recruiting wizard for Duke, has been since he joined the team in 2011. Their one and done run is mostly due to him. He's likely going to replace Coach K when he retures.

No, he's 1 and done. Him, Bagley, Duval, Trent Jr., and Allen. Allen isn't 1 and done but he's going to the NBA. Bolden and Jalin will be back. Jalin will start at C.

We don't have the shooting of this year but our backcourt will be the most talented backcourt in NCAA history. Our frontcourt has Zion and depth as well. I hate we lost Jordan Tucker but he was never gonna get a chance to start at Duke with Capel's recruiting. It's like Bama nowadays.
