Yeah, that's a big part of why I think he could average 3 or 4 apg in his prime. He'll be someone a team can run its offense through, and he'll probably pick up a lot of assists passing out of double teams.

Guys a beast..hes so fluid and coordinated for a guy his size and age,and his vision and passing ability is insane..runs the floor like a gazelle and has a good post game already and counter moves

Id be shocked if he doesnt go 1 upside is too high and hes not as raw as people thought so i dont think his bust factor is that high

That post move that led to him getting through the free throw line

I love the kid more and more each time I watch him

Would select him number one overall if the draft were today even over Wiggins and Parker.

He improves every game and looks more and more comfortable every game he plays.

Yupp definitely looks comfortable out there and Kansas has been playing through him. Wiggins always looks too damn passive on offense for my liking while Embidd wants the ball.

Embiid will be a force in the league. I would pick him first right now, it's hard to find a center, who is skilled offensively and defensively while being athletic. Honestly his potential is higher than Dwight's. He can create his own offense which is something rare for a center these days.

Lebron made it to the finals with that cleveland team.

Bird would have won 4 rings with that team, in this weak ass era of basketball.

And on top of that he can read doubles and zones quickly and effectively.

Put up 16/9/5b/2a on 7/8 shooting tonight. Here's one of those 5 blocks:

Glad you brought this up.

Embiid is excellent getting out of double teams and kicking it to the appropriate person. Rarely does the double force him into making mistakes. Hes smart enough to feel the double coming and either kicking right away, making a quick move to score, or waiting for the double to come and taking a dribble or two out to kick it opposite opening up the weak side allowing Kansas shooters to have a wide open three or a hole to take it to the lane. Watching Embiid read the defesne especially doubles is already a thing of beauty.

I think I've finally switched over to Embiid. Used to think any of Parker, Wiggins, and Embiid could go #1. Now it is hard to think of a reason why Embiid shouldn't. There isn't a team in the league that couldn't use him, even the ones with good centers.

Wiggins and Parker are playing for second. And I can't believe I'm saying that after Wiggins had arguably his best game yet, with an amazing 19 rebounds from the SF spot. I'm guessing the draft order would be Embiid, Wiggins, Parker right now.

Leaning more and more towards thinking Embiid and Wiggins going 1-2 as well. Both have such ridiculous potential and producing extremely high as well. Wiggins aggressiveness and solid shooting the last 2 games has been a pleasant sign.

When is the last time you saw a 7 footer dribble away from the post to escape a double, keep his dribble, only to reengage and easily score a layup?

That to me was the most impressive play Embiid made.

Embiid will be the #1 pick in the draft. Only a matter of time until all the mock drafts out there have him in that position. Wiggins will be right after him, though, I'm sure.

ugh just wish those two didn't play for Bill Self. He doesn't know how to run an offense and Wiggins is being misused even if he's still putting up numbers. I still think Wiggins will go number 1 but I expect Embiid going number 2 at this point.

You're kidding right? Self's record the last 10 years at KU says his offense is just fine.
