^Wanted to ask this too. Any news whether he's coming over immediately or staying at Barca for a year or more?

Re: Mario Hezonja
He is still playing in Spanish league playoffs which could last even up to 28th June, 3 days AFTER the draft.
But his team is playing deciding semi-finals game 5 at home today (Spanish playoffs are best of 5), so if they lose, he could schedule some workouts. If they go though, they would have games at least until 24th, which means he most likely won't workout for anybody in this scenario.

Who are you talking about? That comment was about Abrines. He recently signed a 5 years extension with Barcelona and I doubt he won't play it out.
As for Hezonja, he's 100% coming over immediately.

Re: Mario Hezonja
I've watched four of his games and he's not used in nearly the amount he would be used in the NBA if he is ultimately a lottery pick. He's actually frozen out of the offense when he's on the floor. He spaces the floor and will go multiple possessions without touching the basketball in the offensive set. So when he finally does get the ball he is a little more of a chucker and ball stopper than he probably will be in the NBA.

The Mavs missed the playoffs without Brunson.

Different types of players. More skillful, better size and more athletic is Hezonja. Winslow probably has better defense, better pace, better rebounder and better passer. Hezonja has more potential for an iso team and Winslow is better for a system team.

Re: Mario Hezonja
A great, great piece on Hezonja.

His game in 15 words or fewer: Croatian Kobe. Croatian Klay Thompson. Croatian Jordan Crawford. One of these is right.
till, he’s got all the tools to be a star. Henzonja’s biggest question mark is his biggest asset. By all accounts, he carries himself like the best player on the court, and that mentality works only if he’s actually the best player on the court. Can he be a role player in the NBA, or will his teammates try to fight him?
What’s the worst-case scenario? Imagine Bostjan Nachbar’s game with Kobe Bryant’s attitude.
What’s the best-case scenario? Imagine Klay Thompson’s game with Kobe Bryant’s attitude.
He didn’t get to play much in Spain. Even to some NBA teams, his lack of workouts make him a complete wild card. But that made me wonder: What if Henzonja’s being stuck on the bench in Barcelona had more to do with Europe’s seniority system than his own limits? What if he’s 20 years old, playing in the second-best professional league on earth, instead of college, and he’s the best-kept secret in the draft? Who was the last European guard who turned into a star? Aren’t we due? Could you imagine any better candidate to break the pattern than a cocky 6-foot-8 guard who was nicknamed “The Beast” growing up in Croatia?
One GM told Ford in May: “He’s crazy. But I think it’s a good crazy. The type of crazy confidence that elite players need. If he can keep that competitiveness under control and be patient, he’s got a good shot to be one of the two or three best players in this draft in five years. He has that ‘it’ factor that several guys ahead of him don’t.”
Is there one quote that explains everything? “Respect? No, I never had respect to anybody on a basketball court,” Hezonja said in 2014. “I heard about: ‘If they smell blood, you get eaten.’ I’m not like that. I don’t care. Whether it’s a veteran or a young player standing in front of me I always have the same goal. I want to run over everybody.”

It's what Barca's coach wants you to hear. He has Kobe-like confidence and cockiness and is really hard-worker. Lives and breathes bball. If you think having a little Kobe mentality is bad than sure.

Well he was really immature before he went to Barcelona but his attitude is much better now. There are really no problems of the court. I see a lot of comparisons to JR Smith about his attitude but he is nothing like him. It's more like Kobe. He thinks he is the best on the court which I think is good to have that kind of confidence. And his work ethic is great.

Hide yo' wives, lock your children, Mario Hezonja is coming to spread his cancer all over his teammates, setback your franchise for years without repair, give you no production whatsoever and burn your city to the ground on his way out.
Its perfectly fine not like certain prospect, whats not cool is to make things up which ain't true.
