I think Khris Middleton is a good comp for him.

Ideal #2 scorer who can put up points efficiently, but also good enough to close out games.

I personally love his fit next to LaMelo.

Maybe he takes it to next step with ball handling and defense and reaches PG, but I feel like Middleton is a good middle tier comp.

i'm fine with middleton as a mid-tier comp, but miller is taller/longer and a better run/jump athlete so the ceiling is definitely higher.

Physically he’s kind of built like Trey Murphy but not as athletic.

Last game + first half have been a showcase in his shortcomings onball. Just struggles to create separation or carve space. Lets see how the second half goes.

Alabama doesn't have big talent around him, help defenders can cheat against Miller. The key for his game is going to be mid range efficiency

The best scorers have a mid range game. Miller isn't super explosive so it will help his offense at next level.

The Middleton comparison makes alot of sense. A skilled shooting 6-9 wing is definitely what teams are looking for but rhe inability to create space against NCAA guys gives me pause and puts a ceiling in my mind as a 2nd scoring option. You can make a solid argument for 3rd pick in this draft ... though I still have the Thompson twins in the mix. I just think it depends on teams' needs.

The gun stuff and the celebration are a bit worrying after everything we've seen go down with Ja.

His ceiling is also higher because he's a projected top 5 pick as a freshman, putting up 20 PPG and 42% from 3. Middleton got picked in the 2nd round, got drafted after his junior year - as a freshman he averaged 7 PPG and 32% from 3.
Nothing wrong with having a different opinion - as long as it's done respectfully. It'd be lame if we all agreed on everything :)

He was a mid range assassin in HS and AAU/EYBL. That was the strength of his game.

He just doesn't live in the mid range as much this season because of the offense bama runs - and because he's done a nice job of improving his 3 pt shot in college.

Yep. Bama doesn’t take mid range shots. It bites us in azz against good defensive teams as well.

Miller having the pound the ball to get nowhere in the 1st half. He has gone away from what he does best in these past 2 1/2 games. Has shown some really nice vision in transition and cleaning the glass but the onball scoring has been rough. 2 catch and shoot makes, a put back, and a transition bucket. Lets see how the 2nd half goes...

Can't believe people think this Alabama team is talent poor beyond Miller. Great guard play, rim protection, and size.

Nobody thinks that. Sounds like you have an anti-Miller agenda
